Gas prices are still soaring for drivers as the U.S. continues military operations in Iran. AAA reports the national average for a gallon of regular today is $3.47. That's up to cents from yesterday and $0.48 from a week ago. Police in New York City say an ISIS-inspired bombing attempt took place outside Mayor Zoran Mamdani's home. NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tish says the two suspects told officers they were inspired by ISIS and wanted so-called infidels to die. Both men now face federal charges for allegedly throwing improvised explosive devices during an anti-Islam protest and counter protests on Saturday. Tish says the men told them they wanted to carry out an attack bigger than the Boston Marathon bombing. If you're flying for spring break, you'll want to get to the airport extra early. Due to the partial government shutdown, there are long security checkpoint lines at some of the nation's airports. These folks are at Newark Liberty and New Jersey. Uber says it'll be expanding the features in more cities around the world as well. Daylight Saving Time has documented health effects on humans but it can also impact dogs.
It can cause some house pets to wonder why their feeding schedule seems different at first but it can also have a more significant effect on working dogs. Researchers at the University of Toronto looked at how Daylight Saving Time affected sled dogs. They found that the time switch led to an increase in activity before their handlers arrived. But the dogs got back to normal after one or two days. Bruce Springsteen is facing some criticism for the high prices for his land of hope in Dream's American tour. In the comments section of one of the singer's Instagram posts, a fan wrote, if this concert is meant to be a political statement, dynamic pricing makes no sense. While another said, unfortunately, nobody can afford to actually go. Another fan noted that the tickets they were looking at were at $1,000 to $7,000 a piece. Representatives for Bruce Springsteen have not yet commented on the ticket price issue.
The singer's tour kicks off on March 31 in Minneapolis. The lead singer of Boston has died at the age of 60. The family of Tommy DeCarlo posted on Facebook after being diagnosed with brain cancer last September. He fought with incredible strength and courage right up until the very end.
