Iran remains on the receiving end of a now-week-long military campaign launched against it by the United States and Israel. Israeli Defense Forces said overnight it's initiated a new wave of strikes targeting the received military infrastructure across Iran. Six people have been arrested after suspicious devices were thrown during an anti-Islam protest outside of Gracie Mansion, the home to New York City's mayor, Zoran Mamdani. The head of Open AI's Robotics Division says she's resigning from that company, pointing to the company's recent deal with the Pentagon as a reason why. In a post on X Saturday, Caitlin Callanowski writes the company should have spent more time deliberating provisions dealing with the surveillance of Americans with no judicial oversight, and the use of potential lethal artificial intelligence with no human authorization.
