The State Department says over 28,000 American citizens have returned to the U.S. from the Middle East in an update on Saturday officials say the numbers don't include Americans who safely relocated to other countries or were still in transit back to the U.S. Six people are under arrest after suspicious devices were thrown during an anti-Islam protest outside Gracie Mansion, home of the New York City mayor, Lisa Selvati has more. Please say it happened around noon near the mayor's official home on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The anti-Islam protest was led by Jake Lang, who was a January 6th far-right rioter, pardoned by President Trump. ABC7 reports it was also a counter protest, and that two of those protestors lit in through devices with at least one device generating smoke. Two counter protestors were arrested for allegedly handling the devices, while four others were charged with disorderly conduct.

And the Department of Health and Human Services is canceling this month's meeting of the Autism Advisory Board, and the agency spokesman made the announcement on Saturday but gave no explanation for the change. The Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee makes recommendations to the Health Secretary on Federal Autism Research. I'm Jim Forbes. The Joint Maritime Information Center has heightened the threat level in the Middle East to critical. In a 10-page report, the center said the threat level, which is at its highest, goes beyond the immediate strait of hormones, extending to the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. Reports said, quote, active threat from missiles, UAVs, standoff projectiles, and associated collateral effects remain credible. All vessels, regardless of flag or country of origin, have been advised to stay on the highest alert.

3:12Frito Lay is recalling Miss Vicki's spicy dill, pickle, potato chips, and six states, details now from Lisa Carton. The FDA says the voluntary recall is due to undeclared milk that could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. The recall of the eight ounce bag of chips include the jalapeno-flavored potato chips and was issued on Wednesday after a consumer contacted the company. Frito Lay said the product is safe to consume unless the consumer has a dairy allergy or sensitivity to milk. The products were sold in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas on January 15th. I'm Lisa Carton. New research shows shoppers are changing their habits due to inflation and tariffs. In a study by Simon Kutcher, only about a third of those taking part said they understand the impacts of tariffs. The study found most consumers were concerned about rising prices. Another survey found more than half of those taking part said they are dining out less while 44% are buying fewer clothes and 37% are substituting for cheaper brands.

In Southern California, the pop star's ex-husband was asked for comment on the situation and told Fox News on Friday that people make mistakes. Spears has been ordered to appear in court on May 4th.
