The Department of War is giving updates on the military conflict in Iran. The U.S. has carried out 3,000 air strikes against Iran since Operation Epic Fury began one week ago. In an update Friday, U.S. Central Command reported U.S. forces have also damaged or destroyed 43 Iranian naval vessels, including ships and submarines.

1:06Israel, the U.S. partner in the operation continues to bomb Iran's capital, Tehran, and Lebanon, where it's targeting Hezbollah. Six U.S. service members have been killed and all of them have now been identified. The conflict in Iran is driving up gas prices here at home. Ira Spitzer has more. Gas prices in the U.S. are climbing sharply as the conflict with Iran disrupts global oil supplies. The average price for a gallon of gas has jumped to about $3.32 up 34 cents in just a week according to AAA. Analysts say the surge is tied to rising crude prices linked to the Iran conflict and the temporary shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz, a key shipping route that carries roughly a fifth of the world's oil. The jump in prices is also creating political pressure in Washington, though President Trump has brushed off concerns, saying prices should fall quickly once the conflict eases.
