Trump fired Nome today, saying she'll now become special envoy for the shield of the America's a new initiative in the Western Hemisphere. Military operations in Iran are continuing as the House is set to vote on a war powers resolution that would restrict President Trump from taking further action. It comes after the Senate declined a similar resolution yesterday. The effort is largely seen as symbolic because Trump has said that he will likely veto the measure if it's passed.
Drivers are seeing prices at the gas pump soar since the start of the military operation against Iran. AAA reports the national average jumped nearly 27 cents since last week to 325 a gallon.
