Christy Noom is out as Homeland Security Secretary after being fired today by President Trump in a post on Truth Social, the president said, Oklahoma Republican Senator Mark Wain Mullin will replace her at the end of the month. Trump said, Noom has served the US well and will become special envoy for the shield of the Americas, a new initiative in the Western hemisphere that's set to be announced Saturday. The Dow Jones industrial average has been down over 1,000 points at times. Today is investors worry about the uncertainty of the Iran conflict, the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ have also been lower. 1:02in the Middle East. The House will vote on its own war powers resolution today after the Senate failed to pass the measure yesterday. It would curb President Trump's Iran military operation without congressional support. The effort is largely seen as symbolic because Trump would likely veto the measure if it's passed. Meantime, the straight of our moves has been virtually emptied after Iran threatened to attack any ship that traveled through it, which has caused US gas prices to surge. A suspect is under arrest in Colorado in connection to a triple homicide over two locations in Utah. Utah Highway Patrol's Cameron Rodin says the suspect stole a car from one of the victims. Investigators utilized automated license plate readers and integrated vehicle tracking services to monitor the stolen vehicle's movements through Southern Utah into Northern Arizona and eventually into Colorado. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says the three women were found dead over multiple crime scenes, officials identified the suspect as 22-year-old Ivan Miller from Blakesburg, Iowa. The Utah Highway Patrol says the women didn't appear to be targeted and they don't know a motive for the attack.

2:04The threat of severe weather has millions of people in Texas, the planes and Midwest preparing to hunker down. A main line of storms will start in West Texas and make its way to Central Kansas and Oklahoma with forecasts warning of a threat of tornadoes. The severe storm threat will continue tomorrow with lower-level winds expected to strengthen from Kansas City to Oklahoma City and Dallas. I'm Chris Caragio. Former Notre Dame football coaching legend Lou Holtz died yesterday, the age of 89. I've had so many wonderful thrills and experiences that have always been proud of Notre Dame. Notre Dame athletics said in a post on X that Holtz died in Orlando, surrounded by his family. He entered hospice care sometime in January. The college football hall of a member reached 100 winds and earned a national title while coaching the fighting Irish from 1986 to 1996. Holtz also coached at William & Mary, NC State, Arkansas, Minnesota, South Carolina. And for one season in the NFL with the New York Jets, he later went on to become a college football analyst for ESPN.

3:05Brittany Spears has been arrested for driving under the influence in California. That's according to TMZ, which is citing law enforcement sources. Spears was arrested last night in Venture County, but it's since been released. A skin doctor is warning not to get a base tan or head to the tanning salon as folks gear up for spring break trips and warmer climates. Thermatologist Ashil P. Ketterpoll at the Cleveland Clinic says it's unsafe. It increases your risk of skin cancer, both basal salons weigh a missile, which are the two most common types of skin cancer. Both of those get increased by at least 30% even with a single use. She also says tanning beds age your skin and cause wrinkles. Ketterpoll says a spray tan is a safer option. She recommends if you are going out in the sun, on a spring break trip to you sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and reapply the sunscreen throughout the day. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still uncertain about playing next season. That's according to the future Hall of Famer who told the Pat McAfee show yesterday.
