Hezbollah and Israel traded attacks after the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khameini. Hezbollah said it struck an Israel missile defense site in retaliation. While the Israel Defense Forces reported firing back at Hezbollah targets inside Lebanon.

Members of Congress are set to receive classified briefings on Tuesday from several high-ranking officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Higgseth. President Trump says possible candidates take over Iran were also killed in that first attack. ABC News reported Jonathan Carl said in a post on X that Trump told him the U.S. had identified potential replacements for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khameini. But the attack that killed him was so successful it knocked out most of the candidates. Iran's president has vowed to avenge Khameini's death. Iran's neighbors are reacting with a mix of condemnation, defensive measures and calls for restraint. The United Arab Emirates has temporarily closed its airspace following Iranian strikes in Dubai.

2:01In Qatar, which is home to a large U.S. air base, the government's warning Iran it will respond if attacked. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and other Gulf states have all condemned attacks on their territories. All of the Gulf states are urging de-escalation while simultaneously protecting their own security. The FBI is now involved in the investigation into a mass shooting in Austin, Texas. It left three people including the gunman dead. It happened early Sunday in Austin's busy downtown entertainment district. Images from the scene show the suspect wearing camouflage pants in a black hoodie. There are reports that a caron was found in his vehicle and some indication there was an Iranian flag on his undershirt. I'm Tammy Trujillo. We'll soon be spending more at the gas pump. Rob Martyr explains. Nationwide, the average price of a gallon is currently $2.98. And the experts say it will go up a couple of cents as early as this week. It's not just because of uncertainty in the Middle East. Supply will also be low because refineries in the United States are in the process of switching to a more expensive summer blend fuel.

3:02Experts also warn that prices could spike if there are disruptions in shipping from the Persian Gulf.
