Send-con confirms that three F-15E strike eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury were shot down in a friendly fire incident. It happened during active combat including Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles and drones. The U.S. Air Force jets were shot down by Kuwaiti Air defenses. All six crew members ejected safely and are listed in stable condition. The incident is now being investigated. I'm Rorio Niel. U.S. forces used an unmanned one-way attack drone in combat for the first time during the weekend strikes in Iran, more from Chris Powers. U.S. Central Command says the low-cost unmanned combat attack system, or Lucas, was deployed from the USS Santa Barbara in the Persian Gulf. Officials say the drones were used to strike command and control facilities but did not disclose how many were launched. The system is designed as a lower-cost, expendable platform with each unit valued at around $35,000. I'm Michael Casner. Across the country, law enforcement is stepping up security, a possible target in response to the U.S. Israeli attack on Iran over the weekend. The NYPD is boosting security at key places and high traffic areas throughout New York City. Many Iranian Americans flooded New York City streets yesterday. Hopefully, the latest military action will be a good thing for the people of Iran. People in Iran, they have no freedom. This war is not with the Iranian people. This war is with the regime of Iran.

Pope Leo says he's deeply concerned over the escalating spiral of violence in the Middle East. Speaking to a crowd in St. Peter Square on Sunday, the Pope made what he called a heartfelt appeal to the parties involved to assume moral responsibility to stop the conflict before it becomes an irreparable abyss. Referring to the U.S. Israeli air strikes on Iran and the retaliation that followed, the pontiff said stability and peace are not built through mutual threats or weapons. He added that can only happen through reasonable, genuine, and responsible dialogue. Democratic lawmakers are asking for more details after the Department of Homeland Security announced it deported almost 90 people protected by DACA, more from Tammy Trahio. The program is for young undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children and is meant to protect them from being removed from the U.S.

California Senator Alex Padilla and Senate Democrats, Dick Durbin and Mark Kelly want to know the grounds for the 86 arrests and deportations from January to November of last year. About 260 additional people have been detained. There are more than 500,000 DACA recipients in the U.S., right now only DACA renewals and not any new applications are being accepted.
