Iran's leadership has been decimated with the deaths of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini and many of his advisors during joint US-Israeli air strikes. There are conflicting reports about whether the Iranian President was also killed. State television reports the Ayatollah died at a fortified complex in Tehran.

1:01In addition to Khomeini, others believed to have been killed, include the Chief of the General Staff, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guard, the Defense Minister, the Interior Minister, the National Security Council Secretary, and the Intelligence Chief. Multiple presidential advisors, cabinet ministers, and members of their security details were also killed in the strikes. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said this was needed. President Trump's decision to finally take out this massive threat to the United States of America is long overdue and necessary. The deaths mark a destabilizing moment for Iran's political system. Israel remains under a state of emergency as attacks continue in Iran. Airspace throughout the country is now completely closed, with all civilian flights grounded, an operation at Tel Aviv's Ben-Gurie and airports suspended indefinitely. Schools throughout Israel are closed, public gatherings are banned, and residents are being told to stay near bomb shelters. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is telling all remaining personnel and their families to shelter in place.

2:02Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has appointed two new members to the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. The two new members are Dr. Sean Downing, who specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics, and Dr. Angelina Farella, a pediatrician and owner of a family wellness center in Texas. Secretary Kennedy said both physicians have decades of real-world experience. Warner Brothers' discovery has agreed to be acquired by Paramount Skydance for $110 billion. The deal would make it one of Hollywood's biggest mergers. The boards of both companies have approved the deal. A shareholder vote is expected this spring. I'm Rob Barter. A man is behind bars on suspicion of poisoning a couple with bug spray in California. Timothy Bradbury is accused of spraying raid bug spray on his roommates' food at their home in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles. He was arrested on Tuesday after the alleged victims showed surveillance footage to LA County Sheriff's Deputies. It appears to show Bradbury in the act of using the bug spray while wearing a gas mask.

3:04The alleged targets, a husband and wife, say they've had numerous illnesses and emergency room visits with chest and stomach pain. They had that Bradbury has been tormenting them for months. He was arrested after a two-hour standoff at the home he shared with the couple. The Kentucky Meat Shower Festival is making its return this weekend. The event celebrates this year being the 150th anniversary of the Kentucky Meat Shower, which took place on March 3rd, 1876. It happened near Olympia in Bath County when chunks of red meat mysteriously fell from the sky, the cause of which has never been explained. Today, a festival to celebrate the event and learn about its history will take place in Owingsville. Southern California is closing out February with a heatwave and record temperatures. Downtown Los Angeles, parts of Orange County, even Big Bear broke records on Friday. The 7th installment in the popular Slasher franchise has made $28.8 million so far. The film is now looking to bring in around $60 million in its first weekend, which would be a franchise record.
