The Key to Perseverance in Tough Times - A Nighttime Prayer

Jesus Christ, our great Savior and Warrior King, I praise You for being steadfast in Your love and faithful to never forsake me. Show me Your vision for me, and help me to keep my eyes always on You. Guide me in my days ahead, so that I may persevere despite attacks from the evil one. Teach me daily to trust in You, not in my own power or plans.
Help me to overcome the discouragement, despair, distractions, and defeats that lie in my path. Remind me to keep my focus on You and Your promises because only You can give me the strength to keep going.
Let me have peace and rest this evening, knowing You will be with me every step of the way. Nothing is impossible for Your sovereign will to accomplish, and I rejoice in the victories You will win for me. In Your magnificent name, Amen.
