1:01like it's three nothing and I don't his games fine I don't mind his game and then he lets start letting in lousy goals but you know like what he needs more than anything is to stand behind an owner's team that's playing proper defensive hockey which he did for a period in Denver and he was really good and then he comes out and boom Jamie Ben standing inside of four guys and he gets a pocket scores from four feet away and then the next I forget the second goal it was Sam Steele and then Dickinson should be on him should have tied him up more yeah right it's a tap in the goal he has no chance on because Dickinson's not doesn't have his mat and then the third goal is a full on two on one and the guy hits the post it hits him in the rear end and goes in I mean ask any goalie that's just pure fluke so it's three nothing and it's not the goalie's fall and then yeah turns it then he starts letting box in but he never gets a decent start from his team so to me if you ask me what I do with Jerry I give him a decent start in front of him

2:02and if you play is bad then let's talk I can just see it though spec I don't I mean this is Conor Ingraham's team right now he's going to start tonight and this is his team right now yeah and they're giving him much better start somehow and that's how hockey goals we've seen this before you know but I think this is this isn't me saying Jerry's been good he hasn't been good here there's no question he hasn't lived up to it you know what you need is a goalie that lets you have a slow start but I'll tell you what like those three goals in the first period I mean sorry you know they're just they're on the team they're not in the goalie you need a goalie that lets you have a bad start get out of the period don't want nothing not three nothing that's what you need and Jerry hasn't been that guy I don't know I the first school I was too horny about it's spec to be honest with you well I sure okay but what about the four oilers what about Bush who got a stick lifted

3:02yeah Bush didn't play it well but Jerry's there too and then he gets caught in the two on one and like you can't just you know we're we're just we did this with Skinner here we did this you know to me whenever and all the goalies who come to your town look worse than they were somewhere else maybe it's you you know and they always have been throwing up some decent defensive games and lo and behold they've had decent goal tending but you can't win in a town like Dallas against the team that good showing up like that last night like yeah the goal tending was lousy but so was everybody else so I'll ask you the same thing that I even brought up with Eddie I thought that you know after the second period I thought that there was going to be a response in the third I really did but they didn't kill that penalty and then it's game over I thought honestly if they killed that penalty they were going to get back in this game sure okay I mean yeah they have the firepower to come back on you

4:02but you know you're not playing San Jose here that doesn't know how to win or that's fragile you're in Dallas they hate your guts because you beat them out of the playoff 2 years in a row they're very focused on beating you and they're a really good team that's what 1301 and their last 14 it's not to say you don't just come back from a 5-2 deficit like to me I don't know I thought the game was over after the first period personally Dallas hasn't given up that lead out and just at the top of his game they're playing strong defensively isn't that game no no in fact I brought up early with Gregor yes their power play is the best in the league but their power play yesterday Dallas had more chances on their pk than the oilers did on the power play yeah I think what happens they get behind and then they start making plays they shouldn't make and taking chances you shouldn't take you know you play a different game when you're down 4 or 5 nothing any then you do when it's

5:02right proper hockey game so let's then flush the game and move on the oilers have played some good hockey they found a little bit of a game here they won two important games if I told you a week ago they're going to win two out of three on these first three games every guy on this panel in their car right now would have said absolutely I'll take two out of three in Vegas Denver Dallas they won two out of three go out tonight win a game win three out of four and who cares what happened in Dallas they beat that horse to death yesterday just like the oilers got beat to death spec if your coach Craig Baroube on the bench and you saw that display yesterday and the lack of care lack of anything out of your team when your best player in your captain gets taken down that way how do you feel man well I do I think it's a metaphor for what's happened with that team they're they're not much of a team in the sense of the word they they're a little bit dysfunctional

6:02that they don't that stuff doesn't come to them the way it should as national hockey players you know look at McDavid like McDavid gets touched and something happens every time right or wrong you know right or wrong so yeah that was and Morgan rider came out after the game and took full responsibility great you know whatever you think guys there should have been four other guys getting involved right there like what would Baroube have done when he played we're saying that too spec man oh my god you know goodest would have walked out of there in a body bag so you know I guess what it really tells me to be honest is like they brought Baroube in there for a reason to install and instill and you know doing hard things the hard things it takes to win that's one of the reasons they brought him in

7:02and I would have to say that's an example that after his years there he's clearly failed because that doesn't come naturally to the league it didn't come naturally to the least when he arrived and he's been there how many years it still doesn't come naturally to the least they still don't know how to properly act as a hockey team when something like that happens I mean we saw it Colorado scored early these are really good teams but is it something that needs to be addressed to your spec? First shot of the game both games you know first shot of the game both games I mean the one in Denver was unlucky you know who made a mistake was Paul Colson he had it out of the zone and he put it back in the zone if I remember that it was like a back paddle yeah like I don't know if you really what I never got was if you really meant to do that frankly but he had it out of the zone he put it back in and it ended up scored but that was a puck

8:02that was a long wrist shot that hit nursing win in like I'm not blaming that was just a flu call but the one last night wasn't a flu call first shot of the game they're pinned in their end they get run on around gets the puck and no one gets banned yeah so yeah like you know that you just can't chase every game especially in the good teams oh that's what they've been doing lately Bouchou has been playing really well as of late he had a pretty tough night that first one with Jamie Ben gets a stick lifted has the terrible turnover in the ozone gives away the breakaway which leads to the steel goal yeah he wasn't his night last night along with the whole team uh and that's what happens he placed 26 minutes a night wasn't his night so you know what if we watch KL McCarr or that closely we'd say there's nights that he has where he goes that wasn't his night either and Zach Rensky

9:02whose team doesn't win every night I'll bet you if you watched him play and we don't watch him as closely we'd say oh boy wasn't that great the other night in Pittsburgh or whatever so you know he never has a turnover you know he's on the ice for 25 minutes he's got the puck in the stick the whole time so Quinn Hughes he turns the puck across the wall and he's a great player but somehow be sure we focus on don't we yeah we do uh what do you make of this Dallas team so you watched you know the last two games you saw Colorado in person you see Dallas last night I always look at like I'm thinking that Dallas is just as good as Colorado here I might have Dallas to be a tougher opponent right now than Colorado yeah I'm glad I'm not in the central if I'm a hockey team here that's for sure this is two good teams I mean with what Colorado added and with what Dallas added and you know and they have ranked in and out and facts is out and hints is out they get those three back

10:02I mean these are the two best teams in the league by far yeah I mean Minnesota ain't far behind as you said spec yeah Minnesota is right there I mean there's a lot of these for sure but they've been losing lately so you know in the end all they want of them gets to play for the western western conference championship so you're right Kevin they're all good teams man and people are going to gross about the playoff system like they do every year because every year there's a division where good teams play each other in the first round I get it and you know tough luck for them the pacific is the place to be right now none of the teams make it in the east back oh man you're chilling in the pacific I mean none of the teams make it in the east if you're in the pacific right now it's crazy oh that's it I don't know how that works I mean it's it's been the other way around yeah it has it goes through the league you know if you're in that Atlantic division

11:02and you just spent six or seven years with great Montreal, Ottawa and Buffalo in your division none of them have been any good for most of a decade and now you're complaining that you got it rough and someone else has it easy come on yeah I agree 100% on that right give me a break the Leafs have been a good team out there and when the playoff start they won two playoff series in 20 years maybe they weren't such a good team how about that you know maybe it's been a two team division Florida for like 10 years maybe that's what's been going on let them know spectacular let them know baby so with the oil they traveling to St. Louis the odd back-to-back on the road with some travel but what makes it even stranger is St. Louis is playing back-to-back too and as KK mentioned they actually have a longer travel to get to their home game than the oilers are traveling

12:02in that sense do you expect a better effort from the boys tonight yeah I think Edmonton will dig in pretty good I don't think they like how it went last night you know you really have a chance to erase last night's game if you play well and win St. Louis hasn't lost a game yet March here it's 13th you know they just walked into Caroline and won a game last night and we saw how good Caroline is the other day in Edmonton and they played Bennington last night well you haven't even get a hole for tonight I think hole for has been the better goal so they're good you know like they're not going to make the playoffs but St. Louis Edmonton doesn't win many in St. Louis somehow KK if I don't really know how that works they never had a great record there it's that arch spec you know it's just they can't get past it maybe they got to wear purple shirts there I know you like it I know you like the outfits the last two days spec hey you know what the we've got to mention to the world

13:02baseball classic here so Canada against the USA tonight it's the same time as the odors game it's going to be hard to watch for me I like watching the whole game so it's almost like you're going to have to watch one and then watch the other one I don't know yeah I know what you're saying I don't know can you that's a good question I don't know what to tell you I don't know what to say yeah exactly there's a game on this afternoon too like yeah and somebody but you know what that WBC I think I think it's kind of not just because Canada is good there's been some interesting moments in it like it's got its holes and it's like I get it pitch counts and it's early in the season beats a hell out of cactus league yeah there's some whole like but like the greatest story in the whole tournament right now is Italy and I mean I don't know if there's anyone

17:02get it together man come on I know man I've been traveling and going here yeah we got Friday for sure yeah um who do they go yeah who do they have Nashville's here on Sunday spec and then Thursday I know is Florida because that is because someone said someone could chuck you know so sharks are here on Tuesday and then it's Tampa on Saturday so right six o'clock start on Sunday spec I said out of three home games on Sunday this year three right the elks had two on Sundays at five last year out of nine out of nine out of nine don't have Sunday night home games hey they heard you and that's right see that's what happens we'll have a great weekend spec
