2:13All right, dude. Well, let her buck. Game day. They have its noilers down in Colorado, taking on the avalanche from Denver. It's been a little bit of a topic this morning. The goal-tending situation, and we're not going to dive into, are we better off, we being the oilers in this context today than we were a year ago? Well, let's just focus on tonight's game, and I don't think it's much of a question at all. Connor Ingram should be getting the start between the pipes. We don't want to dive into that, dude. We've talked about it enough here. Listen, we've got enough runway that we've got plenty of time to dive into there. There's a little more intensely. You're right with that with plenty of time left. I think I'm going to be in. You know what, every time that we discuss who the starting goal tender is, it seems like it's a 50-50 chance that Chris Noblock goes the other way. And that's happened several times, not just this year, last year as well. But just something about where they're at right now where

3:15if you win and you're allowing, man, if you're allowing through your lesson, you win unless the goals that you're letting in are totally egregious and stinkers. That's going to be good enough right now. Probably playing the next game, unless there is a back-to-back. I also see the other side of it where you ought to get them in there. Gotta get Jari going. And I think that's the only real dilemma that is maybe facing Chris Noblock and the coaching staff right now is this idea that you expect to need Trish and Jari here at some point or another, right? Because there aren't throwaway games where the others are at right now in the standings. You can't roll a guy out there regardless of if he's expected to start or with two years left at five plus million bucks or Cal Pick or at a million bucks. There are no games that the others can afford to give away anymore. They've kind of peddled along at 50-50 ball too long this season to have that affordability right now in the final quarter of the campaign.

4:15So the way I would be executing this Kevin and obviously tonight's result would play a little bit of a factor is I'm going Conor Ingram tonight. I'm going Conor Ingram and Dallas and I'm rolling Trish and Jari out on the second half of the back-to-back in St. Louis. Well, whoever starts tonight is playing two out of three. We know that. Right. Right. And so as a result, that's why I'm going with Ingram again tonight and giving him the tougher. If they the on paper tougher. If they were to win tonight, even if they don't win tonight, as long as as long as Ingram is respectable. Respectable. Perfect way to put it. I don't need him to be a bar and burner. I don't, but if he has a stinker, then yeah, maybe I'm reconsidering into trying Trish and Jari against the stars. But as of right now, I think you have to give your, put your best foot forward, give yourself the best chance to win. And I don't think it's much of a debate that right now that's Conor Ingram. So, so the other thing too is Duke that I think as a coaching staff prior, like going back to win, when stew, like for the last two years, let's go back to the two years. The other night, we saw the others get some contributions from lower in the lineup, something that has been a little bit of a rarity this season. I think that continues. And then there was a few more deals over night and into this morning, even as well. And what I got 2.3 billion. 2.3 billion. That's the NFL for you, I guess. A nine players with a AAV of 20 plus million. Nine of them, including Malik Willis in Miami. So, so let's stick there for a moment, because it was a topic of conversation yesterday. We talked about with Rifusan, our guest talking NFL. You got into it a little bit. I'm sure we'll talk a little bit with Connor Halley. Like, so the number doesn't end up coming in where maybe we were originally led to believe it could closer to the 30 million mark. But am I, if you're the dolphins, the dolphins who want to lose. Is that a wise spending of your money? Well, it's funny when you say that they want to lose. Everyone thinks that Malik Willis isn't going

9:29to win anyway. So, what's the big deal? But, so, so if, if, if, but why give it to him? Why not just keep two for another year? You could cut him, cut him after that. And I believe that the repercussion salary cap and dead money wise would be quite a bit less than what they're faced with now. So, I guess the question is, if you take basically money out of the picture, who would you rather have a quarterback for another year Malik Willis or tour? Well, I've, most people would say tour. Would they not? Like, I mean, you're also, again, the 99 dead cap would change up to a state. Yeah, I'm saying now you just gave 60. What is it? 66 million? Yeah, it was, I think like 2023 million or something per season. 22 and a half. So 66 call it. So I just, even for one more year because as you say, you, you want to have a decent pick for the 2027 draft where all the quarterbacks are. That's what I mean. And so if, if you stick with two another year, this is a week quarter

10:29back year. Next year is expected to be much stronger. Even if you're not picking first, you maybe can still get a guy that you have a little more faith in. Two, two, I think either way Willis and two gave that opportunity. The difference is now you're tied to Willis for those extra years. Then we know football, you know, there has always seemed to be a free pass. I'm at least a couple of them to cut them loose. But I just don't know why the dolphins and to say, you know what, to a run back out there another year and then maybe, hey, if he plays better, that's better for him in the long run. And he still is laughing because he gets all that money anyway. And he finds a new home immediately in Atlanta, which is a weird move by the Falcons. That might be a conversation for another day. We'll stay back to Carolina. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, for Jalen Phillips and Devon Lloyd to come in. Phillips is at what four years and 120. Yeah. They believe and they have him tipping out to be a top 10 edge rusher, you know, moving forward. Mm-hmm. And the money given out, it is a big number. But then I was doing some reading on our article this morning that actually

11:32when you when you hash it out, like relatively to other pass rusher like this wasn't a deal that reset the market. Like nobody's paying him like he's a top five guy. It actually comes in way lower than that. And and he's not a top five guy, right? But he is effective. And so between him, what Lloyd can bring, I think this is a huge addition to this defense that showed like they played pretty hard last year at times, but lack talent. I think this is a big change. And I'm might be getting a little heady on the pants. There's a South to see. So we set off the top think about it. You got a quarterback that's trending. Yeah. You got a wide receiver in Tet McMillan that is while he was a rookie of the year offensive, right? You know, and then in the back field, you know, maybe Jonathan Brooks comes back. But between between Lloyd and and Jalen Phillips, hands down for me that that was they were top notch yesterday. You know what team actually came close to taking this category from a kev is the Raiders. Oh, just because of the big center. Well,

12:32I think you get linder bomb in there to help out with your rookie quarterback, your run game, where you've invested a lot last year in genty. But I keep circling back to this decision to move on for Max Crosby and net yourself to first round picks. It's a great off season so far. A lot of for this new regiment that I read last night. Duke felt that linder bomb was just they liked the player in great player. Obviously, but the 81 is high. Oh, it's it's it's so rich of it. But I think as the richest contract for for center ever reset the market. We've seen lots of centers on the move already so far. That's off season. But hey, when you're a bad team, and I think oilers fans maybe know this better than a lot. When you're a bad team, you usually have to overpay to get people to come play for you. When you become a championship contender, then you get players keeping on on team friendly deals and you know, chasing championships. That's not where the Raiders are at. Some good alignments still on the board, but I think the most intriguing names still on the market is Juwan Jennings, the wide receiver.

15:44And because of Mike Evans going to San Fran, that's why I think he's he's done there. Like Mike Evans comes in as your new incumbent number one because the IUK saga, however it ends up shaking out. He's not going to play in there. They still have Ricky Pearceau. They got some other fringe guys. I think Evans comes in. They expect him to be their de facto number one. I bet MTRs thinks that IUK can still be a reclamation product, a project partner. Sure. Send him to no in San Fran. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Keep dreaming there. Sure. Yeah. But who else would you have on your list here, Duke? Well, I think Kyler Murray is a name that still interests a lot of people. That's that's a fair comment too. But like when I look at Jennings, it's kind of funny. I thought he had a way more productive season last year than he actually did. He only had 600 and 43 yards on 90 targets, but he had nine touchdowns. And at times he looked like he could be a number one receiver. Now he's never hit a thousand yards. Last to the season previous,

16:45975 was his career high on 77 receptions. But is it just him and he's 29 now. So he's no spring chicken. Like is this just a matter of getting opportunity? Is he destined to be in a pretty solid number two behind someone else? And there's also if you remember, Kevin, a couple of different instances last year, if we get into it with some players in scuffles. And people say that he's a little bit of a dirt bag. Yeah. Some of the things he'll say or do inside the scrubs. So is that maybe a little bit leery for some of these teams? And then the other name out there, I think is the obvious one for still remaining. It's very handy. Obviously, is the pass rusher, right? So if he, I'm surprised that he's still available. Maybe his camp is waiting for better money or if they're overestimating what he can get in the market. I don't know, but he certainly seemed like a name that would have been snapped up a lot earlier than this, even though we're not even 24 hours in. So Hendrix and also had the surgery right for what he ever wrote, or whatever, somewhere in the abs or whatever you want to call it.

17:45I like, there's something about him that doesn't just, there's this little stink to it for me on Hendrix. And maybe it had to do with him wanting more money and since he and wanting to be a top paid Russian, where people said, well, no, you're not in that category. You're not, you're not miles, Garrett. You're not like a person. You're not like, you're not, yeah, you're not these guys. So maybe there's something smelly with this guy that other teams are just sick of dealing with. And I think that is is very much in the realm of possibilities. So we'll see if either any of those names we just discussed or others continue to fly off the board today. It's, it's amazing how quickly it all happens. And what was what was your number, Kev, two point, some billion dollars, a two point three. And that would have been added. I think the most underrated in the universe of Super Mario Brothers is dry bones. And that's the one that's in the castles, the turtle, the Koopa Troopa, that's just bones. You can't kill him. He just bounce on him and he gets back up to terrorize even further down the level. So here's a question, Duke, for you, because for, okay, for one, I think I've told you that I had an addiction to video games when I was young. Pong. No, no, no, no, no, no, it was a little more advanced, Duke. Sega Genesis. But I was making really good coin when I was a kid, like big time coin. For your ice cream. Yeah,

20:52Dickey D ice cream. So I would go to the arcade every day. And it wasn't, it was the dumbest thing I ever did as a kid, because I blew all your quarters. I blew in there. 20, 30 bucks a day. No matter. Like I did. I believe you. And Duke, this was in the 70s. When the game, when the games were only a nickel, a piece of quarter a game, you know, pinball. I was a pinball. Still a quarter, really. I was like a pinball. How many balls? Three. Three balls. Yeah. They were the best pinball. There was an old pinball game back in the day, Duke called the dragon. And I would put a quarter in and I would win 10 to 15 free games and then sell it for a dollar to some unsuspecting. What an astute businessman. That's the only thing that was good about it. But anyway, going back. So like the arcade games, and I'm sure it's so, so you're saying that Super Mario. And I remember it a little bit as an arcade game, because our kids were starting to fizzle out a little bit more, you know, right? Well, yeah, the home consoles would be coming

21:56out when you get the NAS and the Super NAS and 64, the PlayStation into the turn of the century. So I could see it. So now the question that I had originally, so when Donkey Kong and was like right before Super Mario, I'm betting, right? Right. So Donkey Kong would have been 80, 1980. I don't know, maybe a bit before. And then so Super Mario, the concept was almost similar to me, like how they were jumping around and going from level to level. Okay. Am I totally out to lunch here? Like similar to what? Donkey Kong? Yeah. Donkey Kong was 81. Okay. So Super Mario to me was just like the extension. Well, it was. Was the character in Donkey Kong not Mario? Well, okay, that's what I'm trying to get at Duke. So to me, if I think it goes back to the Donkey Kong stuff, all right, for the best character. So you like Donkey Kong? Ungraded character. He sees solid. I don't know a whole lot about this dry bones. Well, he doesn't do much. And maybe I know he's a playable character in some of the newer Mario Kart games. Yeah.

23:00And it's fine. He's got a lot like Cooper Trooper in terms of his like speed and stuff. Donkey Kong, I hated using a Mario Kart because it seems too big the corner. He's bad cornering and slow acceleration. Skies. He's all brawn, no skill, as Josh just whispered over here. I'd like to say into the same Bowser world. Bowser's sweet. But I did. So Donkey Kong's cool. And he got his always his own entire franchise of games and spin-offs and Diddy Kong and the barrels and would you ever have Duke like an arcade-sized game in your condo here? Like like a stand-up one, like a Pac-Man game in the corner of my heart. Something like that. I mean, most like the most popular one I think for a guy like yourself would be golden T. Right. What I have one of those in my apartment, I don't think that would be the best allocation of space, probably not. Now down the road, if I ever am in the spot where I'm owning a home, and I've got a spot in the basement where the the corner quote man gave in the big screen TV and

24:03maybe a pool or poker table or something in the corner of their golden T game. I'd be on board for that for sure. But at this stage of my life, I think I'm like, I don't play video games anymore. I don't have a console. I had blast when I owned as a PS3. It's still at the farm.
