Joey's path includes playing at Pakmen Volleyball Club, choosing not to play at the post secondary level, working his way through the adult tournament ranks, making a name for himself in the One Volleyball League, attending the Volleyball Canada National Excellence Program (formally Full Time Training Centre, FTC), making Volleyball Canada's National B' Team, and signing his first pro contract with German Club TV Rottenburg. Joey shares all of these details and gives some tips that have helped bring his game to the next level.
