The Iran war we must fight and win!

0:00Hello, I'm George Kahler, teamatourge.com, and today's session of Get Real is with my old friend, John Vassar, military expert, geopolitical expert, and one of the most popular co-hosts of this radio program. This morning, I think everybody's mind is thinking about Iran. Should we go on in? Can we win? What's the stake? What do we gain if we do win? John, welcome to the show. As usual, my opinions are my own because they're the correct opinions, so... Uh, I haven't been able to prove you wrong yet. This morning, I want to talk about Iran. Do you feel that Mr. Trump made a mistake by attacking Iran? Firstly, I don't think it was a mistake because they were actively pursuing an atomic bomb.

1:00Had they built an atomic bomb, Saudi Arabia has said that they would follow suit themselves behind them. So then we would have the possibility of an atomic war in the Middle East, which could be terribly destructive to the world's economy, to all countries. So I think it was a good decision to go in and neutralize their atomic energy infrastructure. Also to neutralize their military, including the entire military value chain, their complete military value chain, all their military-related industries so that they can no longer attack or threaten to attack their neighbors. Now, we must remember that Iran, the mollusk, took over. They declared war on the United States and Israel. So in essence, we've been at war with them already for almost 47 years now.

2:02And they have said they want to destroy us. They were actively developing an atomic bomb. It was almost impossible to negotiate with them in good faith, okay? And we were pushed back into a corner and we didn't really have much choice. So what President Trump did is he wrote up a set of the objectives and we will accomplish those objectives. And when those objectives are accomplished, we started talking about opening the straight of hormones. Unfortunately, the people, we don't need the straight of hormones. One state's only about 3% of our trade goes through the straight of hormones, Europe and Asia, that's their lifeline. Their energy lifeline is the straight of hormones. So when we approached President Trump, approached Britain for assistance because Britain gets almost all their energy through there, Britain who has more admirals in their navy than ships, backed down and found out today, earlier today, that they have 50 Islamist members

3:11of the British Parliament now. So it's almost impossible for Britain to commit to anything, assisting us in the Middle East. And I think we need to start re-evaluating our relationships with some of these countries that refuse to help. The strategy right now, it appears to be that President Trump is going to throw the keys of the straight of hormones to these other countries. I don't call them allies, I call them protectorates, to the other Middle Eastern countries, Great Britain, France and China and Japan, throw the keys to them, have them do it. Keep it open. China and Japan, of course, have very formidable navies. They have more ships than they have admirals. And they have formidable fleets, leave the Chinese navies the largest in the world. Japan has at least three aircraft carrier task forces, and they're building a fourth one right now. So they could easily keep the straight of hormones open. And of course, the Japanese, as we learned in their post-World War II history, have become

4:16the world's leading experts in mind sweeping. So they have a perfectly good ability to clean up the straight, clean it out, and escort vessels in and out of the straight of hormones. And we need to, I think we need to think about closing down the war as soon as we, that's my opinion, closing down the war as soon as our objectives are retained. You're a military expert better than most anybody I've ever known. What capabilities to Zeran, in your opinion, what do they still have? That we should be really concerned about? Their existing capabilities is with their regular army. The regular army, I'm not talking about the Islamist forces. I'm talking about the regular Iranian army, which is 3,600 years old. Now we have, as far as I know, as best as I can find out, we have not been directly targeting them. And in some parts of Iran, the soldiers have either deserted or the entire unit has joined

5:24up with the resistance. That's what we're hearing now, that morale is extremely poor. There's no love lost between the regular Iranian army and the Mullahs running the country. We haven't found all that atomic material. I heard there's enough to make 11 nuclear bombs. Do you think that with all the war going on right now and us attacking their missile bases, et cetera? Do you think they still have the capability of using that uranium to make a move forward? Whatever the reason we went back to Iran was apparently our satellite photographs showed them trying to excavate the atomic material that had been rubble-ized in their deep underground facility that they built. And we are, this is very interesting. I cannot understand why you would build an atomic facility underground like that unless you were doing something surreptitiously.

6:26But apparently they were trying to excavate, dig out the material. If they dig out the material and they can find a way of assembling it into a bomb, a workable bomb, I mean, it could be done. Do you believe that North Korea is going to get involved in this? I mean, there's no love lost between us and North Korea. And North Korea does have the atomic bombs already. Iran has shown us that they have some long-range missiles. How would we keep North Korea out of there if they wanted to come in? As far as I know, North Korea has shown no interest in getting involved in this fight that we have right now. I know that North Korea and Iran have diplomatic relations and they have traded material, bought and sold material among themselves. But I have no evidence that North Korea wants to get involved in this at all. If we don't win this war, if we leave the regime intact, how does that play out?

7:29In the Middle East? And not just in the Middle East for Europe as well. One of the things, one of our objectives, I like to use the term objective, one of our objectives is to completely defang Iran. Destroy, it's not only its offensive military capabilities and its offensive military infrastructure, similar to what Eisenhower did with Germany in World War II. We do the Allies destroy Germany's ability to make war. And that's what we are trying to do right now to destroy their ability to make war and even to recover their military. Do they need to get rid of this regime that's in there now? The AI told us are crazy. I mean, it's just, they're satanic. Is, do we need to replace them as well with a democratically elected government? I didn't even know how that would work in a place like that. The Iranian government, as it stands right now, is non-functional.

8:30It is fragmented. Nobody knows who's in charge. Communications have broken down between the different government agencies. One of the things I'm very surprised at is that the people haven't risen up and taken their country back because the AI atollas are not Persians. And the Persian people, that's their country. They need to rise up and take that country back. And they've done it before in their history. We can't continue on like this. I mean, there's no functional government there. Who do you talk to? Who are you going to negotiate with? I heard that the figure of 70,000 isn't too far off. That's the number of people that have been hanged and shot and who have disagreed with the government over the last couple of years. Does that continue if the AI atollas remained in charge? They just executed one of the female protesters yesterday in a public execution in the soccer stadium. They're continuing their reign of terror.

9:33That's their terrorism is continuing. We're in a situation where the Persian people are in a perfect position right now to rise up. There's no love loss between the regular army and the Mullahs. It puzzles me that they haven't used this as an opportunity to throw the shackles of this slavery off themselves. I don't understand. Now, the 70,000 people were killed over the last couple of years. The Iranian Medical Association has said that the last few months that would, since last January, 50,000 people have been killed. That's their medical association. But we're dealing with a very barbaric group of people. We have to defang them. The minimum we can get away with, defang them so that they can't carry on their reign of terror outside their army. You just said something. By the way, I know we're listened to in other parts of the world. I found out that this radio program is used in South Korea in their English as a second

10:39language program over there. I thought it was because I was so fascinating, but here it's because I retired as an English teacher back in the 60s, and we use good grammar, and I bring guests on like yourself there that use good grammar. Also, they know they're anyone who listens to us. They're never going to get a shocking word or the F-bomb or anything like that. So I don't know if we're fascinating or we just speak good grammar, but we're used in ESL a couple of years back from Tehran. If they listen to, on the right side, my other radio stuff, in Tehran, I wonder why I knew so much about the Quran and so on, it was not a mean email, but something you just said to me this morning about the regular Iranian army, which has been around for over 3,000 years. The people aren't armed, but the army is. If you have a message for Tehran, and the people who would be open to your message,

11:44what would that be? Take your country back. The Persian people are a great civilization, Cyrus the Great who freed the Jews. And at this moment, I believe I have information that there are Israeli operatives in Northern Iran right now working to free return the favor, I would say, arming the Iranian resistance, the small Kurdish resistance groups in the northern part of Iran. And I would tell the Iranian people, you have a great civilization, probably the greatest of all the civilizations, take your country back, rebuild your civilization, recreate the Persia of old, you and Israel are natural allies, the Jews and the Persians are natural friends, take your country back and return to the greatness and prosperity, you have unlimited natural resources, your wealthy country, you could be a world leader, become the Persia

12:50that my great-great-grandparents knew, go back to those days. I was looking at pictures from 50 years ago in Iran. The girls were dressed like women dressed, all over the Western world, the shops sold anything you wanted. The people seemed so happy, why do you believe that they allowed the Ayatollahs to take over? Good point, this is a perfect example of what I like to call the red-green alliance. The people that actually were toppled the Persian monarchy, which goes, the peacock throne goes all the way back to the Bible. The reason that it was so successful was because the communists and socialists did most of the heavy lifting in the Iranian revolution. Once the mullahs were put in power, which they put them in power, the socialists and communists

13:53put them in power, the mullahs did the same thing that Hitler did to the brown shirts. He shot the brown shirts when he took power, and the mullahs shot and hung the communists and socialists, and the women who demonstrated for against the shawl wound up being put in burkas. And when the women tried to demonstrate against it, they shot them too. So this is an example of, be careful what you ask for in a revolution. What a privilege it is to have you in my studio today.
