We'll discuss, tell you what that is all about coming up here in 15 minutes. But we do this on Tuesday mornings. So let's go ahead and see who will answer the call as we throw up the signal.
No Gordon, they're on vacation. And Dave said, hey, I heard something. Let me talk. Hey, Dave Lane. I hate to disappoint everyone. Oh, no disappointment at all. How are you today? Gordon is on his spring sabbatical. So you get team who Gordon. Okay. What? My wife orders that all the time. So I think that works for us. How are you today? I'm good. I was going to ask you guys how often you authentically celebrate Dallas. What do you mean? That was referencing the story that you were teasing about the hawks. Oh, man, it's been a while since I've truly celebrated Dallas. But why not? If you know what, if I'm so hurt about what they did to Atlanta, maybe I do need to celebrate Dallas. Yeah. You really seem to show solidarity with hawks.
I do. And Atlanta. Okay. You haven't been in a while. Man, I was a frequent visitor also. Oh, there was a dark period of my life where I'm ashamed to say I did darken those floors way too often. Way too often. The newer name walking in. It wasn't even a, you know, a reason to go. I had a bachelor party, anything like that. No, we just go. Yeah. Did you ever go solo? No, I did not. That's what you ever brought. Have you gone solo? I played the fifth. Okay. All right. There's nothing else to do. Let me check this out. It's fantastic. Why not? Well, you know, when there's a time in every single man's life when the women that are free, they don't want to have anything to do with you. So you have to invest. You do have to. You have to. That's right. Sure. Were you the one that I practice?
Did you practice for the free women? Did you think that the ladies had took a liking to you? Were you one of those dudes? I might have deluded myself a few times. Sure. Why do we all do that? It's a challenge. I wonder if I can get a number. Sometimes you can. Yeah. And when you do, then you feel like, man, I just won the lottery. Right. It's the reverse lottery where you just give more money. This is amazing. I can't believe she gave me her actual number and you talked for a minute. I always thought that I had one of those faces that did not attract the ladies to come over and even talk. So if I went with a group of fellas and man, they would go and sit down and talk to my boys. And I'm just kind of sitting there by myself and it's like, man. What did I do? What do I need to do? Okay. I have a question, Donnie. And I don't want to be insensitive. Sure. But there is a clear delineation between types of strip clubs.
Okay. And did you cross the racial divide or were you only going to ones that were designed for... For me? Yes. Why so you dancing? I don't think I've ever seen you dance that much. That's kind of question like that. Oh no, no, no. I did cross the divide. I was equal opportunity when it came to that. But I will say that the majority that I did attend was probably designed more towards me. Okay. Then the other man. And that's the way I liked it. So did you frequent the where they are strictly topless or did you go to the ones where they complete? They completely disrobed. Well, no, no. I can't remember the last time I went to a one that was completely off. Yeah. You got to plan ahead. You got to bring your own booze. And I do. Yeah, right. And then you got to pay for ice and cups and like a... And chaser.
Plastic covering to put over yourself. I don't know about all that. Yeah. Now, I was always the one to where... You know, you have to go in and purchase your own alcohol. I don't really want to go to the B.O.O.B. But there were some that you have to look around when you walk in thinking, okay, is this safe? And those were kind of the more exciting ones because you just never know what the heck was going to happen on any given night when you walked in. Because I had a buddy... I prefer to be safe. Yeah, safety is a key in situations of nudity. I was a guy that I knew that had a high level position at a big time corporation. I was one of my fraternity brothers. But he... I think it was a moon light as... I don't want to say it was an official pimp. But it was close. Oh my God. How do you moon light as a pimp? Dude. If... What's an unofficial pimp?
If you are... What is that? Well, if you needed a... If you needed work for a party, you definitely will call him and he would definitely provide for you. And then he would take a... Whatever, pass the party, you needed, whatever. So it was... I think maybe it was even mine. My bachelor party. Was he just a facilitator? Did he actually take money from the... I don't know that. The girls were paid. He was definitely a facilitator and a good one. Maybe he was just doing it out of the goodness of his work. We would go to... The pimp with the heart of the game. All right. He needs me with a movie about him. We need to write about Autobot or you about him. You'd go around and he'd scout. Oh, there was no need to scout. He had the... He had the free agency plans all ready to go. Okay. He was the will McLeod of his office. Let me tell you. There was no legal tempering period. No, no, no, no. He was just full on free agency. He was kind of asking you what you wanted and he would definitely lead you in the right direction. So one day we had to go and meet him at one of those establishments and they kind of
gave us the look up and down because it was truly look like we were fish out of water. As far as going in and then we told him who we were going to meet. Oh, yeah. Come on in. Sit down. And we calmly waited on our man to get there and did all the advance counting that we need. When straight up to VIP. It was remarkable how much his name got us to where we were in that establishment. Well, so I knew a guy. He was a friend of a friend but he managed bands in college and then post college. He turned that managerial career into managing adult establishments. Okay. And so there were a few times where I would tag along and get the red carpet treatment because when his old band buddies or friends that he knew from college would show up, he would want to really impress. Of course. And throw around his power and influence. And yeah, you would always be escorted to the best area and he would send you the prize heifers.
And this is the class of what we have to enjoy picking them out like the bunny ranch. Oh, yeah. That looks great. Yeah. So, Donnie, do you, do you have more fun though when, because I know you're, you're captain Vegas. Mm-hmm. Do you, do you have more fun when you and your, your fellas are at the club or at the adult establishments? Man, that's, it doesn't matter. Well, I don't think it matters. As long as you're with your boys and you have it a good time, it doesn't matter. But we definitely in Vegas focus way more on the music clubs than the adult establishments. I think I've only been to maybe two in all of my times in Vegas. I've only been to an adult establishment there twice. Other than that, it's just, we're just going to kick it. Yeah, because there's just, there's a level, especially when you have a big group, there's just a level of seediness that you just don't need to intermingle with your friendships. And then you get to a point, I think if I, if we would have started going at a younger age, maybe
we would have visited more of the adult establishments. But we started going to Vegas on a yearly basis when I turned 40. So I think you start, ah, you know what, it's, it's fun on the surface. And yeah, you start thinking about what you really truly want to do and how much fun you want to have. Man, let's just go to a club where they're playing really good music and not even worried about that other stuff. Okay, here's another question then. So you've been going since your 40. Yeah. And we're in our 50s now. And I know Vegas has different rules than, than anywhere else. But is there a point where you're like, man, I'm too old to be here? Oh, yeah. Definitely. You get to a club to where they're playing like the house music that just kind of grinds on your chest. And that's all you hear and your ears are ringing the next morning and you go, oh my gosh. Yeah, I'm way too old for this. I'm going to stop. And then you turn around and do it the next day. You out, but I haven't been to Vegas since we went for the soup bowl. And then before that, I came trying to remember the last time I went. So it's been a while.
I guess I've just kind of grown out of it. Do you ever go clubbing anywhere other than Vegas? Like, when you go to Nashville, you're going to go to clubs in Nashville? I don't know about clubs. Country clubs? Yeah, not probably go to a place where you guys go to the draft in Pittsburgh. Are you going to go clubbing? Yeah, no. No, there's no way I'm doing that. Unless you guys really want to. What if they had a brewery? Oh, of course. And that's, he maps everything out as a brewery is a concern. Yeah, I've already seen this club. Yeah, what's the brewery seen in Philly or sorry, Pittsburgh? It's not great. It is not great. It's not. They have three rivers. They have so much water for beer. They do. There's stuff in the water area. There's stuff in that area, but some of the ones I'd rather go to, the most outside of Pittsburgh, they just wouldn't make sense for something like what we do. Because we don't have a ton of free time. Yeah, the draft is a grind. I'm telling you. It's a lot. Yeah. I'm glad you're going in on us. Oh, thanks. I think you guys use your hard-line muscles to have us go to the draft instead of you guys.
Well, you know, we just don't want to take all the good trips. Okay. I'm sure, yes. Really good trip. I can ask you to Wisconsin and now to Pittsburgh. Yes. It works out great for me, because the only way I'm on the draft is if I'm at the draft, because no one wants to hear what I have to say about anything. So it's bad for Bob, because he has to do, gavel to gavel coverage, but he has to do it from here. And now, if you, so when you guys went to the draft, where you own days one and two, all the days, yeah, I don't think I had to do day three. Okay. All right. Or maybe if I did, it was only for like five minutes. Man. Oh, what a... Now, watch the... If the draft is in Hawaii. Oh, the hard... Oh, yeah. We want to do the draft coverage now. And just kick us to the curve. Then you guys are S-O-L. Yeah. So sorry, man. Just all those hard-line muscles you guys are flexing.
I, you know. I'm just... I'm just here to co-tail. I'm just here to ride the legacy of sports storm and the snake. I heard that. You know what? Me too. I think that's what I'm going to do the same thing. Yeah. I mean, they are riding the co-tails of the musers, and the musers are riding those co-tails straight to six weeks off a year. No. Wow, only six? It's great. It might be more. Maybe it's eight. I don't know what it is now. I don't know. I don't know. I was like, dang. Baby, same time next week? Oh, yeah. Yeah, because Gordon's still off. That's right. It's T-Moo Goat. It's free-ready. That's right. Man, we'd love you to be here. We love you. You need me. Alright, put up the signal. Thanks, man. We're leaving. Bye. Well, if we got to hear the signal. There we go. That's the only way you can leave. There it is. The only way you can leave. Go, go. Baby. I got it. Baby.
Oh, I got it. I got it. Ah. Don't touch my hair! Don't ever talk to my own! I don't want to talk toga road! I want to but don't tell my wife either. All right, love. There's a ball on it, say, the ball on! Right. образом. Bring out the bucket and talk it. You need to be on it today. That's right there. Bring out the bucket and talk it. して. What the hell is going on?
