The HBCU Experience

About this episode

In today's episode, we will talk about the history of HBCUs with Scott Thomas, HBCU Social Media Historian. We'll discuss the controversial topic of HBCUs and to bring awareness to the rich history and importance that needs to be shared that allows us to be seen, to be heard, and to be human. As a professional woman, with over 28 years in the workforce, I have personally graduated from two HBCUs, Howard University in Washington, D.C. and the Interdenominational Theological Center Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia. Sharing our stories allows us To Be Seen, To Be Heard, and To Be Human.
