It's time for the good, the bad and the ugly. Well, the good. I'm going to cheat a little bit. It wasn't from the weekend, but you know, the 6 AM hour is still the weekend around here, right?

1:04On a Monday morning accounts. Plus, there was nothing better than this over the last 72 hours than Jawan Taylor getting released. Oh, my goodness gracious. That's right, Jawan Taylor released by the chiefs. There you go. Right on cue. There's your Ric Flair. Mark there you go. I like it, buddy. Saving the chiefs $20 million in cap space. And now we can stop yelling at the TV 74. Again, you've got to be kidding me with this guy. He's killing us a tackle. Thank you lined up in the backfield as much as Pacheco last year. Hey, man. Listen, I'd be doing the same thing if I was him trying to get an edge at that right tackle spot. Like around the corner. Oh, my goodness. I just turned sideways. Geez. That was I was so sick of him the last couple of years. I mean, who wasn't who wasn't? You couldn't do another year with Jawan Taylor on the offensive line. You just couldn't do it. And this morning it came down from Adam Schefter, Ian Rapp report.

2:04Some of the other top guys that Jawan Taylor is out. So Mark, you got a replacement for me. I know you've been thinking about this for a long time. You've been hoping for this day. You both have a replacement for me. Mark, you go first. I feel like Jalen Moore who's already on the roster can just step in and be the right tackle. Okay. John. Yeah. I was with him on that one. Okay. We got him to play the left tackle. But Josh Simmons worked out. And he wasn't injured when he was absent. So we'll hope that absent doesn't transpire again. And you've got the left tackle set up. And so you moved Jalen over to the right. And we had that rookie kid playing pretty well at the last game of the season. I came up with his name, start with the e. But anyway. They need to transfer tackle. There you go. Holy. There you go. I'm breaking down the old line for the chief. I love it. String tight in Pete. All right. I love that good work there, fellas. Well, that was great news that dropped this morning. Now the bad, the bad from the weekend, some of the media coverage around Operation Epic Fury. Not that it's going to shock you at all. But I'll give you a great example here.

3:06Okay. Um, I'll play this clip from local media. This was from Fox four and just the way it gets framed here. Take a listen. States and Israel pushing out an attack against Iran. It's sending mixed emotions among people right here in the Kansas City Metro and mixed emotions amongst people in the Kansas City Metro. And you're like, okay. Who are they going to use to represent those mixed emotions? Because I don't know about you. But regardless of what you think about this, there's overwhelming footage all around the country of Iranians celebrating in the streets. Heck, Iranians and Israeli celebrating together in the streets. You're seeing that all across America. So to immediately frame this as well, you know, people are split. Well, actually every poll I've seen and you tell me if you've seen others, some all about transparency here suggests that this attack was largely approved by the American

4:09people in immediate polling that has been done by you, Gov and some of the other outlets over the last 48 hours or so. So are there really mixed emotions? Well, then the report goes on the talk to somebody who's actually of Iranian descent, who's like, this is a great day. And who do they use on the other side to highlight, quote, mixed emotions and quote, a manual cleaver. I mean, a manual cleaver, a man and a woman. If you use a politician, that's the best you could do. All comes after Iranian government and killed thousands of its own people. Hundreds of Iranians, including their Supreme Leader, were killed Saturday morning after the United States and Israel bombed the Middle Eastern country with the Ayatollah dead Iranian-American activists, Mercedes-Tabacoli says going forward, she feels more positive for the people of Iran. I would be naive to say that there isn't a sense of anxiousness as well, but especially with the news of Ali Hamine, who was the Supreme Leader of Iran being killed as well.

5:17I think people are feeling even more optimistic. But representative in manual cleaver, while acknowledging the Iranian regime is bad, says he's frustrated that Congress was not informed of the attack ahead of time. This, which is article one in the Constitution of the United States, has the sole right to declare war. And most of us, probably about 400 or more of us, out of 435, didn't know that this was going to happen. So I'm fine framing like both sides of any story, right? I mean, that's part of what media should be doing. But when you're saying we've got mixed emotions on Operation Epic Fury, and you find someone who is obviously an Iranian-American here in Kansas City. And then the other side is a manual cleaver. Well, I mean, manual cleaver is motivated by more than just what is in the best interest of America because he's an elected member of the party that's out of power that is desperately trying to regain power this year in the midterm election.

6:19I mean, that's not like an apples to apples when you find one side in favor and one side against. It's just not. So there was a lot of that over the weekend, not just locally, but of course around the country because, you know, just can't give the guy a win. Let's be honest, it's as simple as that. The ugly from the weekend, let's go down to Austin, Texas, where on 6th street, which if you've been down there, that's kind of their big entertainment district down in Austin, Texas, kind of like Broadway in Nashville, if you've been down there. But we now know the individual who was behind a deadly attack over the weekend, a former New York City resident wearing a property of Ala Hoodie and possibly out for vengeance over the US attack in Iran was behind the fiery blood bath in Austin, Texas over the weekend. He first became a naturalized US citizen April of 2013, despite his growing rap sheet that spanned New York and Texas.

7:23This individual whose name is Diaja Dianganay was the alleged killer in Austin, Texas over the weekend that left multiple people dead and two people dead injured 14 others at a mesh shooting on 6th street. On Sunday, the killer had a car on his car was possibly also wearing an undershirt featuring the Iranian flag or other Iranian symbols when he opened up fire at Buford's backyard beer garden near the University of Texas, Austin campus, a coordinate sources familiar with the investigation. So this all unfolding late Saturday, early Sunday morning, law enforcement knew him as an emotionally disturbed person in both New York and Texas before before he shot up the Austin, Texas bar early on Sunday morning. He also had a string of previous arrests under his belt in the big apple and in Texas, using a 2022 arrest in Texas for a collision with vehicle damage. I mean, this guy's rap sheet goes all the way back to 2001 in this country.

8:30He notched bus between 01 and 2016. The year he applied for asylum under the then Obama administration. So that's what we know about this guy right now, but obviously something to monitor in the days ahead, you just heard Mark Alford say on the show that everybody in the country needs to be alert and aware, including Kansas City.
