Statistics show that women are less likely to fight for the raise or promotion that they believe they are due, based on how they will come across at work.  On this episode, we continue our Salary Negotiation series with Career Consultant for PGA of America, Kathy Grayson. We talk about how to know when it’s time to approach your supervisor about a raise or a promotion as well as how to start that sometimes awkward conversation.  Kathy talks about how research is very important when negotiating a raise so that you are as prepared as possible for any “stalls” leadership may throw at you. Find out if it’s best to let your boss think it over for a few days or attempt to come to an agreement during the first meeting. These and other tips and advice for forwarding your career when you are a woman in sports business.
