Well, here we are again on a weekday for Tim Matthews. Yeah, he has left again for a nice little vacation. Um, is it me or does he take a lot of time off? I've said it before Otto, he's worked here for decades and his vacation time has really piled up and he's got to use it because it doesn't roll over into next year. So if you don't use it, you lose it. Yeah, yeah, I know, but it's really got me worried, Dave. Really? Why is it got you worried? Well, I think the more time he takes off, the more time he'll get used to not being here and eventually, and Tim has no donening, he's gonna say, yeah, this is pretty nice not having to get up early every morning and while I see quits.
Oh, I don't think Tim is gonna quit. Oh, you don't think so? No, because he's got a mortgage, he's got a pay. That's a pretty good reason to keep working, I would imagine. Ah, yeah, most definitely. I would suppose the same goes for you. Yeah, my house is not paid off. It's gonna be a while, how about you? Yeah, I still have a mortgage on the mouse nest. I've got my loan to First National Mouse Bank. Wait a minute, First National Mouse Bank? Oh, yeah, that's always been my bank. Oh, I didn't know that. Anyway, I got a ways to go before my mouse nest is paid off, so I don't see any reason to retire. Well, unless we get fired. Well, yeah, that would make retirements come around real fast. Oh, yeah, look at the split, but I'm just not gonna retire.
Yeah, me too. Any trivia? Well, yeah, I've got trivia. And what's it on? It is on food. Oh, I always love it when you do trivia on food, because as you know, food to a mouse like me, well, it's my favorite subject. Well, it should be because you're a little bottomless pit. What do you mean bottomless pit? Well, with your fast-reving metabolism, I mean, you eat everything in sight. You know, at least that's the way I think. Well, I'm a taboo, only an us mice, is much more roughed up than yours, isn't it? Yeah. That means we need to eat more and more just to keep going. Well, that's basically what I just said. I mean, you guys eat and eat and eat and you never stop. Anyway, the question? Well, well, let me ask you this. Do you like vegetables? I'm not a connoisseur of vegetables,
but if there's nothing else to eat, how eat vegetables? There you are. You're a little picky. Well, Dave, like I said before, you find food where you find it and no matter what it is, whether it's a squished cheese curd or a piece of electrical wire, I'm gonna eat it, but I'd rather have the cheese curd. Well, I, okay, yeah, that's true. You guys do eat just anything. Anyway, we are talking about vegetables, and the question is, what vegetable is also classified as a flower? Uh-huh. I know food, but not like that. Well? Isn't it the tomatoes? Uh, no, the tomato is not a vegetable. It's a fruit. Uh-oh, I thought there was something about that. Um, vegetable that's classified as a flower. Uh-oh. I'm a... Corny? Uh, no.
It is not corn. Man, um, vegetables are not corn. Um, vegetable that's also classified as a flower. Uh, I wish I was more up on flowers, but... I'm surprised you don't eat them, too. Hey, I'll eat a flower if I'm starving. I mean, you would, too, wouldn't you? Well, yeah, if there's a salad dressing available. Anyway, oh, gosh, I'll say, beets. Uh, no. It is not beets. Well, that beats me. I saw that coming ahead of time. Oh, anyway. So, the answer is... Uh, the answer is broccoli. Oh, broccoli. So, uh, you don't like broccoli? No, I don't. That end up spinach, to me, are absolutely useless. Oh, but you know they're very good for you. Yeah, I know, I know.
The question for me is, why does it seem like all the stuff that tastes so good, like cookies, and things like that, are not so good for you, and the stuff that tastes like dirt is better for you? Well, that's the way it is. Why can't the stuff that tastes like dirt be treated to taste good? Well, you can do that. You add sugar, or you baste it in butter. It depends on what it is, so you can add flavoring, but it does take away from the positive things about the food that's good for you. So, you're better off having bad taste in order to get good results, okay? All right, well, we'll see you tomorrow. Sounds good.
