We received a visit from Bob Lynch from MoDot.  We talked about the gas tax and its benefits.  We also got an update on a couple of bridge projects in the area.  It looks like work will continue on the bridge over the Bagnell Dam, while the D road bridge in Camdenton has been completed with just a bit of follow up work to be done.

Dave Maupin, the author of Among the Dogwoods, paid us a visit.  He discussed the most recent Camden County commission meetings.  We also had time to discuss the preliminary budget for Camden County.  You can pick up you copy at the Camden County Auditor's office.  It's definitely worth a look at some of the line items.  Dave finished up with a great highspeed pursuit story from his days with the LAPD.
