I mean, clarity is very important. What is the form of your voice? Marching in large groups doesn't always mean opposition. So you've got to use your skills as a writer. Speak at your city council, support humanitarian issues, create respectable conversations. And then you got to ask yourself, are you physically and mentally prepared for the disagreements? Are you informed enough to make your position known? The time to speak is when the silence in your heart is heavier than everything else that you're carrying. Political scientists are quick to point out that government gridlock isn't new to our history books.
