The CIA Files - Part 16

About this episode

Yesterday I had the Colonel back on the podcast for Part 16 of the CIA Files. We followed up on our episode last week on Vietnam with a conversation on Cambodia and Laos. The main focus was the brutality of Pol Pot and the killing fields in Cambodia, and how the CIA was involved in the actions leading up to it. Then we moved to Laos and the CIA’s involvement there starting in the 1950s. We wrapped up by talking about how these countries to into the opium trade, how it ties into hyperfinancialization and money laundering, and how Vietnam, Laos, and Burma controlled 85% of the world’s opium at the time. You can find the Colonel on Twitter, Rumble, YouTube, and Substack.
