The Cecil Hotel

This property has a reputation for murder, suicide and strange happenings. It’s famous for housing Richard Ramirez, the Nightstalker, it was also the influence for the American Horror season 5 for the Hotel Cortez in LA. This is the strange and sad history of the Hotel Cecil at 640 S. Main St, Los Angeles California 90014. Hotel Cecil is now called Stay on the Main. It has been rebranded and taken on a new look, but the location is the same.
