About this episode
Alberta politics is never without controversy, but one of the most unexpected political controversies in recent memory has to do journalist Wyatt Sharpe. Wyatt is a 12 year old from Ontario who hosts “The Wyatt Sharpe Show” and his list of interview subjects and contributions to journalism in Canada really shouldn’t be underestimated. Nonetheless, when he began calling in to UCP press conferences and asking some very hard hitting question, people on all sides of the political spectrum expressed either support or condemnation for him playing a role in the Alberta political discourse.
We caught up with Wyatt to go through some of his accomplishments and get his thoughts on the future of journalism, media and perhaps most importantly, youth engagement in politics!
