The Book My Father Left Me: A Campfire Tale

About this episode

This episode contains mentions of abuse, graphic descriptions of violence, and brief profanity. Two weeks ago, I had the honor of writing a show for a Halloween event at the beach where storytellers spun tales for an audience sitting around a bonfire. My fictional stories were brought to life by the incredibly talented actress Nicole Javier, and the event was produced by Eric Vosmeier and David Ruzicka. It was truly a special experience and I’m proud of what I wrote. I primarily share nonfictional stories on this podcast, but for today, I reworked the live event as a podcast episode. Thanks to our sponsors!
