The Bondi Attack - The Making of a Trial

Last December, a beachside Hanukkah celebration at Bondi turned into one of the deadliest terror attacks in recent Australian history. Fifteen people were killed. Dozens more were injured. Now, for the first time, the man accused of carrying out the attack has faced court.

In this episode Wayne examines the case against 24-year-old Naveed Akram, who is charged with 59 offences including terrorism, murder and attempted murder. Held under the strictest conditions inside Goulburn’s Supermax prison, he is expected to fight the charges in what could become one of the country’s most complex and high security trials.
