I mean, anybody's paying attention to the difference between Friday 13th and Halloween. You know what I mean? I'm not on you. Of course, I came up here. You were streamed with us last week. I had a really good time played with some newbies, showed them the ropes.

But now I'm finding out other people in my life are also insane. You know, it felt so good to get in there and murder everybody. Because you know, the problem was Mike and you had already played when Halloween, we got to the streams and stuff. So I was very concerned about how much Mike would already know how good he would be. And to be able to go in there, Andy, and really just kill everybody and scream and, you know, talk about the devil and be the devil. I had a great time out there. I love that game. Any court test before we go into full spoilers for the blood of Don Walker. This is still spoiler free. Still spoiler free. Give me your review on the kind of funny scale of the blood of Don Walker. The blood of Don Walker. Great story beats.

6:10Awesome NPCs. Fantastic interactions. Yeah. Progression that I don't love, but I think is more than good enough because of how. You're talking about everything else. The skill trees. Progression skill trees abilities. Combat. Like I was never in love with those aspects. And if those aspects are kind of. You know, six to seven ish. No way really for me. And that's fair. I'm, you know, obviously your review, I'm not trying to say that. Um, if I'm not super in love with those aspects of the video game, the story better be damn good and the characters better be damn good and luckily this was way better than I could have ever hoped for. Um, I really enjoyed my story and my journey with this. I would give this an eight five. That's what I like to hear. I think it's here. I mean, it what a great. Like debut from this. Rebel studio. Yeah. Like a man fantastic start. And again, thinking back to just that, wow, you're really calling your shot with this futuristic

7:13version of Cohen in that trailer. What a silly thing to do. Oh my God, man. I went away for spoilers. I guess, but my God, when they did that, when they fucking did that, like, what are you doing? Don't be like that. How many times have we seen all where a bunch of AAA devs coming together to make a quad group of a game? It'll be great. Goes newer. I'm not a first game. It's where we want to go in the next two sequels. Like what? Yeah, what really stunk is like, we watched that. And then I went to go do the preview. Yeah. It's already had that a mind of going like, oh, man, I don't know if this game is going to be awesome or not stuff. And that prologue really blew me away. And then the rest of the game, I think, just has so many freaking fantastic side quests and so many optional, missable things that you could choose to not do. But if you don't, you may be missing out on your favorite side quests of the game. It's just so freaking damn well written with interesting characters and great twists and turns. It did everything I wanted to do story wise. Hell yeah. And again, the combat, not bad. I know it sounds like I was like, kind of shitting on it.

8:13We were talking about progression, I felt like more. Yeah, yeah, definitely. We should think of combat. I like combat. I like the combat. Yeah, I had a good time with it. I just wish, uh, wish it was a, uh, I wish my end game Cohen looked and felt a lot different than my early game Cohen. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that I totally vibe with. I think that'll be one of the things they take away for the sequels, right? It's character customization, right? Of really making it look like you've been on a journey and you've gone through something rather than you're the same kid from the very beginning of the game. Uh, Madeline, of course, uh, we are doing a spoiler cast. We're not in spoilers yet for folks who didn't see it. What did you give this on the kind of funny review skill? I gave this a nine out of 10. I really found not a lot to have wrong with this game. I thought the story was amazing. I too was so incredulous of them shot calling a future game that has nothing to do with this. And I was in fact, like, uh, kind of wrote, wrote it off. And then to come back such a comeback for me, this game where I was like, okay, like

9:14I love vampires, but, you know, I'm more interested in the future one now, but this one was so good. I loved all the characters. I loved, I really loved the combat, even though I struggled with it at the beginning. And I really felt like I went on this journey with Cohen and it was a my journey. One of the things that's been so fun is watching other people. I know stream this and them having completely different experiences than me and every person is interacting with the game in such a different way, which I think is so cool. I thought it was really fun when after we did our review and Jordan Middler was still here in the office. I wanted to ask him about a certain NPC and he had no idea what I was talking about. And I was like, damn, that's just a really delightful little NPC exchange that is a multiple chain mission or whatever, but for him to have not even been like, not and you know what you're talking about. And it, it being one of my favorites and it's not this gigantic, you know, consequential side view to whatever.

10:15But that's the great thing about these awesome side quests is that even when they aren't super consequential to the overall story, they still hit in a good way because the writing's phenomenal and the acting is great. Yeah, it's just it's so likable. I think that's, you know, one again, I gave it an 8.5 when we reviewed it as well. But I think that conversation with Jordan that I was, you know, a part of listening and it's one of those things. It's like proof the game so special because playing that I mean, I know there's clearly what the main mission is, right? But we said it throughout this that the side missions feel like they're all feeding. There is no side mission. It all feels like it's made objective stuff. So I remember what you're talking about. And it was like, when I got that, I thought, oh, that's just that you have to do that. You're going to, you have to find that that would be something of the, you know, you couldn't miss. And if I you missed it, I think really pretty talk cool the game is. Yeah. It's time to move into spoilers, everybody. So this is your last chance to bail if you have not played this game. Of course, I still think this is one of those you could listen to and say, hey, now, maybe

11:16I want to go check out the game now because there's so much going on on. Maybe you're watching way later. If you are, hit me up on BS. That's Blue Sky and say banana cream pies go far and that's how I know you're listening to the spoiler cast years from now, because that is, you know, still happens every day. You think it's really going to, you think that quote's going to resonate with you in the years. Oh, right now I get them all the time where people are like, banana pie. Pumpkin pie. They obviously think I'm like, I have no idea what spoiler cast is. I appreciate it. But I appreciate it. People still do it. It's nice to know that they are still finding our content. Andy's yelling nonsense at you. Exactly what Andy is. Andy Madeline. Yeah. There's so many different places to start with this game. So much to talk about. But I do think let's piggyback off what we've already brought up. A wet fort of a post credit scene to have shown me the fucking post credit scene three months before. Yeah. I would have lost my fucking mind if we would have played the blood of Dawn Walker.

12:18No idea that they were going to do a future flash forward. And we get to that end credit scene and the FedEx guy shows up and slides over the blood box and Cohen grabs it. And I would have been like, what the fuck? This is amazing. It's a stand you showed that during SGF or PC gamer SGF showcase. And we're all like, what the fuck? You don't know what the game isn't happening there. But we want to eventually why? Why'd you ruin that? Boo, boo, boo, boo. Yeah, you ruined daddy Cohen for us. All grayed out with like with the gray beer looking all rugged. Yeah. And it's I think it puts. It gets me excited for wondering where he's going to be out in the future, Madeline because he looks like he's given his all to whatever this, you know, upcoming encounters going to be. And he's got this really awesome attitude about it. He's like, I have fuck I can do this all day. That sort of vibe. Yeah. But he looks like he's on his final broke. Like this dude, this dude looks so strung out. He as Greg mentioned for people who haven't seen it.

13:21FedEx guy arrives to an apartment and he opens a door and Cohen is there. Dying like pretty much looking like he's dying of thirst or starvation. Because he's a vampire. He needs blood and he's telling the FedEx guy, fuck, he kicked the box over here. I just need and he opens the box and there's a blood bag in there. And he starts just eating the drinking the blood. And he looks like, you know, he's gotten maybe a week left. I'm trying to find a kick it over to assets to bear. I can't remember if it was SGF. There's a war IGN first. It was SGF. It was SGF. Yeah. Okay. I see it. I see it. And then yeah, there's like a guy levitating out in the window who's like trying to fight him. And obviously they're in a prolonged altercation. And what is all that about? It's very interesting. No. But it would have hit so hard if we hadn't already seen it. It was so confusing in Game Wars. Because it was like, wait, I thought this game's in the fucking 14th century. 14th century nailed it. And they were like, no, no, yeah. And after the fact they're like, no, no, it is.

14:22We just wanted to give you a glimpse in the hint of where his story is going. You're like, I don't even fucking know this guy. Yeah. Like again, like this should have been at the post credits. I shouldn't have seen it or this should have been introducing the blood of Don Walker three, or you know, or two or wherever we're out to go. But I assume we're going to stay in 14th century on the next one. Because we have to figure out what's going on with our baby sister. I love that he's still calling the same car style. I know, right? He has not figured out a new hairstyle. Yeah. It's one of those. Maybe when you get bit, you just can't change your hair. You know, he cuts it and he grows right there. But then he does have the beard. So it's kind of weird. What I really needed from him was just a couple of strands of hair coming down near the like near the end, you know what I mean? Like like I always think about how our friend Echo Chloe loves Rafe from uncharted and how cool he looked when his hair just when he's like at the end of his rope, whatever. That's why I needed a bit more from Cohen near the end. And also maybe a couple of hair styles. Let me have my hair down. Again, I think like let me look like Scott staff from Creed.

15:24I think that'll I think they're going to patch in Transmog because I want to be able to transform my clothes as much as this stuff matters. And I think the future games that you the next game that'll be like they're one of their big editions of yeah, you can really customize your comment. But let's talk about customizing our story. Madeline, Andy, did you kill your mom? No, I did during the preview. Yeah, yeah. And that blew me away when I started the review of the game because during the preview, I totally did not get the chemistry right for making that little dish. If you're unaware, yeah, in the beginning of this game, you are sent on your first real fetch quest to make your mom a tier of soup. I forget what it is. Make make a concoction that'll help her have enough strength to go to church and do the damn thing. But you have to remember the recipe and pay attention to what they're saying. And it's such a great skill check right off the gate of like, oh, this isn't an RPG. You just click through the dialogue. Yeah, you got to pay attention. You got to remember what you're doing. And so then if you come back, if you fuck it up, yeah, she can die in the church.

16:24But it is one of those moments that doesn't really come back at all that sort of mechanic. And I would like to pay attention to yeah, and I was hoping it would because there's a very popular or very popular. It's just a mission in the Witcher 3 in a very popular game. The Witcher 3. And you are the same as myself for Witcher Wednesday. You are replacing somebody in a theater play. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and you are given a script. And I just thought, I'll know, you know, whatever they're giving me the script, but it'll just pop up. I could just access it. But then the time comes to recite your line on stage and I'm like, oh, I'm supposed to memorize that. Oh, shit. And, you know, I failed a couple of those selections or whatever. I love stuff like that. You know, so this kept me on my toes at the second time around. I remembered like, all right, remember the chemistry of it all. And the first time I did this during the preview, I did not remember the exact ingredients for the recipe.

17:26And when we got up to that altar, Brent says like, look at this little weak. He's a shit. We coward. And it immediately kills her on that altar. Bites into her neck. And if you remember on the preview, I mentioned I was hoping for a bit more of an of an emote in that moment. I was wanting a bit more emotive stuff from from Cohen because your watch your mom get killed on the altar. And he's just kind of like, no. And I need to like, no, like I need something massive. But, um, but it was cool. The second time we're on to go like, oh my god, you, you can saver. That's insane. This was one of my trepidations. The emote part. I would say this entire opening where like I had read the game and former cover piece and been like, oh man, this sounds awesome. I talked to you about it. I was like, oh man, this story sounds great. And playing it, I was feeling like, oh man, some of these scenes aren't hitting. Like I'm not getting the emotion I need nor might get necessarily getting the explanation.

18:26Like what the silver mines and the fact that that, you know, he that Cohen has the silver and his blood from working and breathing. And that's why Brent says, like, that I think is explained in depth in the game and former interview piece. And I was like, that's really cool. And then playing the game, I was like, if I hadn't read that, I don't know if I would understand that this is somehow tied to the mines or whatever. And then I was like, is the whole game going to be like this where it's like, I have to use theater of the mind to fill in gaps or whatever. And I don't think it was. I think we, we get out of that. And I was like, okay, I'm, I'm into the flow of their storytelling. I want to pause right there because upon experiencing that and upon finishing, the use of a pod. Thank you. And I'll use it a second time and upon completing the game myself, I, I think that was gaming former speculating. I don't think it was his, because a lot of people were exposed to silver. And they're biting them all the time. Yeah. I, there are a couple of moments in here. Correct me if I'm wrong, Manlin, if you remember, but there's a couple of moments where

19:28Brent says the head vampire kind of alludes to there's something greater within you. That's why, okay, you're, you're shit hurt me. It wasn't like this. I have, you know, exposure to just being in these silver mines. Because a lot of people in the silver mines. Chaos killer killer says they mentioned the silver no lungs once in the game. We're silver in the blood. Because I thought what he did. No, it's going to say I remember and I might be wrong. One of my favorite little pieces and I think we talked about this, like we alluded to this in our initial review is like, you can meet up with Brentsis at this area called Shrikes Crag. And that whole scene is awesome if you did, did you both do that? No, which one did, when I go to like negotiate with them like to bar. Yeah, I did that with you. So they do talk about it there, Andy. If that's so crazy that you didn't even do it because it's such like a major part. And that's one of the things I love about like RPGs, right? And having options and stuff, which is that he talks about like when he put his nail into or his tooth into

20:33Cohen, that's like what turns you into the vampire. But yeah, that the silver already inside of him is does affect the vampire nail differently. And they're not turning like they can drink anybody, but it's the it's the tooth into the body that changes it. And they're not putting their teeth into all of these people. They're just drinking them. Gotcha. Okay. Okay. That makes sense. Because I don't know, there's there was that moment when he immediately reacts to the biting of Cohen and he says, what are you? Yeah. Yeah. And that kind of sucks that it's just, well, he has silver. But I was hoping it was like, you've got some. Over here in the chat out of time, dad says, lacra says that the dawn walkers don't blood doesn't taste good. So maybe there's just. Yes. I wonder if the combination of the of yeah, there's something about him and the silver fucked with him. I don't know. Yeah. So it's interesting you bring up the parlay with Brenzis. I want to know your first playthrough for each of you. How did you beat the game? Like what what like what was your path defining him?

21:35I and I did not meet up at that spot. I knew that I wanted to. I wanted to create the the sword. Yeah. You know, um, and that was like super important to like, no, I really, really want to do this. I beat it with like two days left. Nice. I thought it would be about six days or so, but I kept on, you know, finding one more thing or whatever. And yeah, I killed him in the, uh, I'm blanking on the name, but like in the nightmare world. Yeah. The vampire world. Yeah. That's I think you end up there no matter what. Okay. That's the re endings I've done. Like they're different up until a point. That's what you get into the fight with him and then you go to vampire world to kill. Yeah. I beat his ass there. Hell yeah. Okay. What was your avenue to Brenzis Madeline? Yeah. So I met up with him because I wanted to see what he said. And I'm so glad I did because I feel like we talked about. I thought he was so interesting and I feel like I know nothing about him. And that little chunk at Shrek's Krag was the most time we got with him. And I was wrapped. I was like listening to his every single word about why he did what he did, why he took over the

22:38town, like his motivations. Like he was still a very evil man. But I was like, okay, I love getting some insights on to why things ended up the way that they did. But obviously I did not side with him because he is very evil. I ended up going with Craig. I went through his whole thing. So I met up with him. We had a little romance going on and then we stormed the castle and we did that together. And I really liked that. The funny thing is that I did not know. So I completely missed lacqueria, all of her stuff. Somehow, somehow when I met her, I must have dialogueed my way of like, fuck you lady or something. I never saw her again after our first encounter. She's cool as fuck. I didn't do anything with her. And so I literally went back to, I had saved every single day. So I have like day one day, I would save for every day of my play. So I went back to try to find before I had interacted with her. So I could see some of her stuff because she's really interesting.

23:39And I didn't even know until the end of the game. Seeing other people play that we could spend more time with her. And then she has a whole ending as well. Yeah. It was the immediate like, I be lined the second that I get the miss rumor of another. You're a rumor of there's a there's a woman vrk here in the city. I'm like, oh, shit, that sounds so fascinating. Same with Vichot. There's another vrk here. Oh shit, I got to figure out this dude. I'm a lot of it's so compelling. Yeah, for me, I did the Craig ending as well. I didn't romance him. I was uncle all the way or whatever. Did you do the dirty with a Madeline? Yeah, both. Hell yeah. Yeah, my my Cohen is canonically bisexual. I love that. I love that. It was me and Enka. And then she was like, we can't. Yeah, you know, come on. You're your vampire. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So it's like, all right, I'm booty call, but that's okay. I'll accept that. That's one of those moments I'm not going to forget. I'm just busting out laughing in headphones at my desk.

24:40And blessed looks at me. And I'm like, I'm having a graphic sexy right now in the office. Like I am the way we go at it. And then I immediately flip her around. I'm like, so holy shit. All right, this is happening right now. And then I had real bloody sex with lacquer. Oh, yeah. I don't know. You could. So, sorry, we're going to have to. Oh, yeah. I did. Crazy. I rolled with Craig because I'm my in my head when I was role playing this. I was like, I'm here to get my family. So I want to be as strong as possible and get them out as quickly as possible. Early on, I had done the quest with walked into my accident with Father Florian. They gave me the back door. Okay. He's like, hey, you can go here and you can talk to this guy and he'll let you in. It was like, cool. And like, I was so early. I was still like 20 days on the clock. And I was like, you know what? I'm about to go to bed. I'm sure I'm going to get my head kicked in. What if I do it? And I went in the back door and I got my fucking face kicked in. It was the first time like the monster flying dude dropped down. I'm like, what the fuck is this thing? Fucked me up in two seconds. So then when I went and actually played, it was Craig's storyline that ended first and

25:42gave me the army and did the thing and I went and did it and I wasn't satisfied with. I had already beaten all the, you know, the satellite vampires, all the, you know, Brinces' discord got in there. You know, you come in with this douchebag king who's just an asshole or whatever he is, you know, J. Lanister type or whatever. I did not deal with Florian at all. Oh, this isn't Florian anymore. Oh. This is, so when you do the Craig thing and you team up with the rebels, you basically open the back, back door to the kingdom and let in the, the other kingdom that had been driven out. Gotcha. So now their royalty is going to take over and they send in some guy who's a mealy and ass like, this is a bad fucking call, this sucks. They argue me like Brinces makes of like, am I worse than the guys you're letting in that are just going to be boot on the neck of everybody else and don't be vulnerable? Anyways, though. So we did the whole thing and beat them. Obviously, we all end up at the same place right of a little zombie monster or whatever. And I was like, damn, and I was like, I wouldn't have done it this way if I had, you know, more, if I wasn't role playing, I tried to play a video game. And even that though was that I think I was in the middle of that ending.

26:46And I'm killing everybody and somebody made a reference to lacra and I was like, oh, right. I had started that thing and it was one of those come back in the day and I forgot all about it. So I hadn't even gone and met granddaddy vampire. I hadn't done any of this shit. That's it was awesome. It was I came back and did a run where I went back and did that and talk to him and do because that was awesome meeting the vampire that, you know, made obviously Brinces that had made us and it was our grandfather and then the fact that he tortured. I'm with you, Madeline. We talked a little bit about the review and now we can talk way more about it, right? The idea that like, Brinces is so interesting and it's that problem we see in so many movies and stories of here he is at the beginning, fucking hours without him. And then here he is at the end and you if you want to engage with these ending stories, you can get there, but I wanted him peppered throughout. I hope they do that next one, some regard. When you get those like, you know, miscipes of like, when your notoriety level goes up of like what the different underlings are saying about you because I also would have like to have more interactions with

27:49them as well of just like, what are they thinking? What are they doing? And I think the sort of notoriety notes of like, Cohen's fucking our lives up, you see notes from different missions that you get, right? They're like, oh Cohen's fucking up all the slug farms or the leach farms, we got to get him. But it's like, I would have liked to interact with them a little bit more or seen more of them because I feel like by the time you go to kill them, you're like, oh, I've heard of you, but I don't really know anything about you and I'm going to kill you in 30 seconds. Yeah, I mentioned. Bye, I guess. I mentioned on the review that I wish that they and what I would assume is if they had more budget, they would have loved to have done stuff like that because I would have loved the ghost of Yote approach. After so many missions you cut to dude and he's like, they did what? You know, he's like, you know, I want to see him being a jerk to all of his like underlings or whatever. Not Princess, but all. Yeah, boom, boom, linging on the dude with a long hair. Are they pretty boy? Yeah, here remind me of Ambrus.

28:49Ambrus, yeah. Ambrus, yeah. I wish we got a bit more opportunities to see their personality because they they had a lot of personality. Yeah, exactly. That was the thing I think, you know, using them almost as caricatures, right? Ambrus looks so much like Lestat from the interview with the vampire of the TV show right now that I was like, I don't need much more. I can already know who you are. You know, Zanth, all right, you're some crazy fucking witch. And then of course, back here, I'm like, all right, you're like gingous Colin right hand man kind of vibe. Get it. I got it. You know, yeah. And that worked for me for them, but Brensis, I felt was just like so interesting. And again, the argument he makes in each ending for why he's doing what he's doing. I thought we're cool. So I go, yeah, I was going to say, did you all, did you invite the different underlings like into your mind? So you have the option, right? To, to like keep, keep them with you or, you know, exile them into like the nether realm. What did, what did you both pick? I left, I left them all there. Nobody's getting in here. All right, Madeline. Oh, okay. So I, I invited them on to my head.

29:50So you do kind of get more context for them because they're talking to you the entire rest of the game. So let's say, what is that? How does that work? It's time. So you're anytime you're doing anything, one of them will be like, oh, I don't think that's a good idea. Or they'll be like, hmm, okay, you, you fed on children like, I don't want to be on my head. Or they'll be like, I think there's something dangerous up there. You got to watch out Cohen and they kind of become like your little like, wow, angel devil on your shoulders. And like some of them become, I think Ambrose ends up being like a little bit more nice to you. He's just like a little sassy, whereas like the gang is con guy is just like pretty bloodthirsty. He's like, kill that dude. I think we should kill everyone. It's very interesting to have them throughout the game. So it's like, that's what made me want even more of them because I was like, well, I killed you so quickly. Now you're here in my head. I wish I had gotten a little bit more idea of your personality, but you do get more of it if you invite them into you. Damn, that's cool. Yeah, I didn't want any of that. I didn't want, like again, for Cohen.

30:50I was like, my Cohen, if you wouldn't do that. When we're talking about like just awesome side quests, the side quests with Julian, I think was one that really, really like was awesome. I don't know. That's not jumping off the page. Julian's a dude. Yeah, when you're neither. Julian's a dude who works for Ambrose. And he's like, hey, you want to kill Ambrose? Yes. I want him gone too. And granted, a lot of them have an underling who doesn't want them there anymore. But Julian's like, what I recommend we do is, I recommend that, because here's what Ambrose does. He has an advisor that he, like a blood boy. Yeah. And he just sucks on that dude's blood constantly. That's like, that's his dude. And it's really demeaning what he does to this guy. So we got to poison this guy so that when Ambrose drinks his blood, it's going to fuck him up.

31:51And then you can go in for the kill. And Cohen's like, poison is a person? Yeah. So there's an option to be like, all right, sounds good. And then, yeah, fuck. And the other option is poison. I don't want to just poison it in his, or that's murder. And he's, and Julian replies with like, hey, you've, you've killed a lot of people that are, their underlings that are working for them. What's why not? He's very much like, is it really, is he really innocent? Yeah. You know, in a meanie, some of you was mostly, and sound like, hey, that, hey, facts, that's true. You're actually right. So let's do this. And you go on this quest to look for this poison to find the lady who could craft the poison for, for Julian. He'll be can poison this dude. And we find out that this lady's been killed. She was out trying to find different ingredients and she was, she had everything she needed to do the poison. But then she could go fight if this one monster's gland would make it where we don't realize that yet. Oh, yeah, we don't realize that. I thought we did this point, but okay. Because Julian, then when he's looking at this woman's dead body,

32:53he goes, I'm the blood boy. I'm the guy who Ambrus feeds on. And I want you to poison me because I want to die. And I want to take him out with me. And we're like, why the fuck would you want to think? As well, the reason she died was she was trying to get this gland from a big lizard monster. And that gland would make it so that I don't die. I would still, we would really fuck up Ambrus, but it would not kill me. And he's like, and I told him not to do that because I want to die. I really don't want this. I don't want to do this anymore. You're like, shit. So I went out to go help him go through this ritual or whatever. And I went to go fight that lizard. And I got that lizard's gland. And then you get the opportunity to put the lizard gland in the poison. Because you're like, do I, do I save this man's life? Because it's the, I think it's the right thing to do. Or let him die because he wants to die. And so I'm mixing this poison or whatever. And he's like, yeah, if I can do the thing, let's get this thing started. And there's a moment where like I selected put the lizard gland in there.

33:56And he puts the lizard gland in there. And he looks back at Julian. And he's like, I'm not going to let you die. And so we give Julian the poison. And he gets off, you know, fucked up or whatever. And he goes to his ritual. But he's like, all right, I'm ready to go. And when Ambrus bites me, I'm going to die. And hopefully that's when you can go in for the kill. Yeah. You go down to this boss fight. Ambrus bites Julian as his blood boy. Before the fight starts, it's come over here. You know, let me, let me, let me, let me. He dies the whole thing. And I'm sure it was the same for you, right? I always do this before fight. Why does you drink with me? Oh, amazing. Amazing. Yeah, yeah. Like big sweat drop of like, Yeah. Because you kind of make eye contact with Julian as he's with Ambrus. And, and he's like, you know what? You take a drink first says Ambrus to, to go in and go. And I declined and I was like, why would I trust you? I went with the option of, um, you're offering a drink to me. I thought you're this high and mighty. I'm just a poor little fucker. And here you are like, how embarrassing for you to do this.

34:56And he's like, you know what, whatever. It was just a gesture. So he bites into Julian. Get's all fucked up. Yeah. Makes the fight easier for me because he's constantly getting staggered. And Julian at the end of it is like, I didn't die. Why the fuck didn't I die? And my co and his, I respond, I was like, that's crazy. That's, that's weird. Crazy. That's the, the most Andy respond. That's crazy. Julian, that's right. You should have died. How did that happen? That's crazy. We should go like do something or whatever. And he goes, you're gonna pee. No, no, no, no, no. Did you put the lizard gland in the poison? And I admitted and I said, yeah, I wasn't gonna let you lose your life over this. Like, and Julian looks at me and he's like, I bet you feel so fucking good that you're Mr. Hero and you saved my life. I wanted to die. You went against my wishes. I never want to see you again. And I was like, damn. That shit is baller, dude. It was so good. It is so fucking good. Yeah, see, I did, I let him, I was like, he wants it.

35:57I, he gets it. I didn't do that when what I, what stands out, I mean, like I love all the permutations of that. Like we're talking about. Yeah. Where initially when he came up, it was like, fuck you. Like why would I trust you? You know what I mean? Like is this a trap? Am I gonna get jumped by a bunch of ghosts to see if I go do this or that? But I went and I did it and you get to that point. You get the reveal and I was like, I'm not gonna put the gland in. But what I loved about it then was obviously the end of, hey, drink with me, don't drink with me, whatever. But then the actual ritual itself where he was like, hey, I'm gonna say a lot of shit. Don't listen to it. Oh, yeah. It's gonna be bad and I'm gonna beg you to stop. Don't let me stop or everything. All right, cool. How bad could it be? And then like the way he's screaming and we're back to like the acting. Yes. It's like, holy shit. The end of this ritual going, kill me, call him, kill me. And I selected the option of like, no, you got this. You could do this. Yeah, yeah. And finally, he's like, oh, thank you for not killing me. I know. I know. I said a lot of things. I said a lot of shit. I said, I'm crazy shit. I didn't do anything. But that's like, that was one of those side quests. I'm like, oh my god. Yeah. That what a great moment that is.

But it was a similar thing of, oh, I finally get, I've pissed him off enough that I can, you know, fight him. His little guy shows up and is like, hey, if you want to fight him, the only way to get him alone is going to be down into this fighting tournament and do the goddamn thing that way. And I was like, oh, you're slimy and shitty.

42:02And I don't like you at all. And I had talked to Jordan Middler throughout this review. And he had been talking to me about what for him in Zanth, and I hope I'm pronouncing that right. Zanthee. Zanthee. Zanthee. I'm just thinking of Zanth from the Oblapod. Zanthee. Uh, Middler had been like, man, I just bumped into her and killed her without doing anything. She was just out in the world doing her thing. And I was like, oh, that's interesting. And so with back here, I was like, okay, cool. I don't like your entry quest. I told that guy to shove it. And I'm like, I'm going to see if I can run into you later. And I never could. And I even did the thing where I started the quest at one point. Led me to his castle. The thing pops off. I was like, okay, hold on. Quit loaded the old thing. Went, took it to nighttime. Went back to the castle hoping he would just be there doing it. And he wasn't. I was like, huh, I wonder if there's a way to find him or flush him out. Or if this is the only avenue to actually get to him. I only, I wasn't surprised about Middler mentioning that he fought Zanty because she's in the big castle. The cathedral. She's in that big cathedral.

43:02And I remember that from the early footage of the game. Yeah. And so like she's in there. And that's big, you know, they're like, you could find her here. And they show off like just a little combat situation. So I knew that that was possible. But I don't think you could run into anybody else at any other point. Yeah. Yeah. I think it was just her. Fair enough. And I wonder if it was just very story specific. But I did all that back here, the Bacchia stuff. With the tournament. Oh, I did too. Yeah, yeah. I mean, obviously, the guy was, I was going to clear the whole court before I went in there. I was like, you know, my mind is going. I'm like, I want my first chance to get in there where I can stand a chance. And that was to go eliminate everybody. And I love that, you know, when you're doing the final run, I've done multiple endings. But like whenever you're running through the building, you get to the parts where it is like, St.V. is going, but I was still here. Like, I would have fought Zanty here. If I would have left her alive, I would have fought her in this room right now. Oh, God. Those people coming in and like, oh, man, even though he's going to work still going to do that. Oh, that's cool. I like that you can see where it would have been. That is something since you didn't invite them into your mind.

44:06Actually, the ending where you go into the other plane and you fight, Brensis, they help you fight him. No, she didn't. So that fight was extremely easy for me because I invited all three of them into my mind. And they all three used their like OP special powers to like, fuck princess up in the other realm. So that ending ended up being very easy because they were both not there in the real world. And then they were all there in the other world. Other worlds and they all were getting up on him. So that was very fun. That's fucking well. I didn't invite any of them into my mind, but I made a truce with Zanty. Yeah, because she does the whole thing. Don't kill me and I can help you do the thing. And so what does she do exactly? Because I was I even have the screenshot of like, fuck you. She just shows up. She tells you I can help you get I can give you more information about what Brensis is doing underground. I can give you like more info or whatever. Just, you know, don't kill my daughter. Don't, you know, and so I let her live.

45:06And then when you meet her at the castle, that final sort of siege. She just they're waiting for you. And for me, am I play through lacrosse with me? And she's like, damn, all right, Kohn, you know, you got a little like kind of evil side to you. If we're letting her live, like I'm surprised that you let her live. Like shout out to you, you know, because lacrosse always doing the most shady shit out there. I love it. Oh my god. She was always up behind me. I always mean to agree to she's everything. Yeah. Don't do that. Yeah. So you fucking care about vampires. Yeah. So and it was funny. They make mention of it when we're fighting these random people in one of the rooms. Lacrosse goes, damn, yeah, this one is sucked. Like we're having to fight Zanty's like homies or whatever, but we didn't have to experience any of that because you made friends with her or whatever. So yeah, there's a lot of like cool little touches here and there. Yeah, it really makes me excited to obviously you can just watch it all, but do a replay. And I know just today the news is broken from some Polish YouTube video in the interview they were doing where they have confirmed a new game plus is coming. So nice. So eventually they weren't ready to talk anything about it,

46:08but it has been confirmed because I still want to do a playthrough where I go in it is every time it says give it to the hunger, I give it to the hunger. Just see what that would look like. How would that play out if I did that? You know what I mean? And also, you know, fully invested vampire powers, which I was all sort of a mastery sword mastery, whatever they call them. Yeah, stick with that. Go that way and really see how that would flush out that way. I want to talk about Volk. This is this for me and this is one of the one you're talking about. Yeah, I was talking to middle about this and he had no idea who I was talking about. Volk of course is the blind man who it turns out as you play through. It worked or was a soldier alongside your father. We didn't know our father well. It turns out he had quite the past beforehand and Volk is this old man telling you stories of your father. And this was an early on side quest for me where I kept coming back every day to get a new thing and to get a new thing and then it pays off with just great stories. Obviously the whole, you know, he caught the Pope in a sexual affair and then the Pope gave him a gift and you find the thing like, damn, this actually is from the fucking Pope.

47:09Yeah. The thing I love the most about is it gives us such a good background to your dad who's such a dickhead to you. Your dad's just always been this shut off asshole. Right. And it just seems like there's never been a great connection there between Cohen and his father. And to the way the mission starts off is you talk into a random NPC and he's like, oh yeah, I got a beer delivery. Yeah, we've been doing like beer deliveries out there and he's like, my dad doesn't drink. Why the fuck? And he's like, it can't be for my dad. He's like, no, it's for your dad. And you know, who knows what he's doing out there? Like kind of alluding to like your dad's probably cheating on your mom or whatever, probably whoring out there. And you go to that spot and you find out it's a dude with no eyeballs. Who and your dad's just been going to take care of him. And he's an old friend of your dad's and he's living in a cabin and he can't see. So he needs help and your dad's going there to, yeah, let me kind of spruce up the yard.

48:10Let me, you know, deliver food or whatever. And it's like, damn, that's such a sweet little intro. And then for it to continue to evolve. And for him to be probably one of my, this is one of those like inconsequential NPC like side story beats where it doesn't lead into anything. And it's just great storytelling. See, I agree. A thousand percent. But for me, it was like the encapsulization of what they do here because it's a great story. I was interested. I was having fun. And then at the end, you get your dad's chest. And for where I was in the game, there was a great two-divorner. Oh, man, all the quests feed into the world. Nothing's and I get a payoff at the end that matters. Now, of course, when you start knocking off Brunstice's guards, you start getting dope ass armor. So it's like, then he doesn't really cheapens everything in the world. But at that moment in time, the way I was tagging, oh, this is great. Yeah, it's one of those that I would say. And as I'm going through Red Dead Redemption 2, and as I went through the Witcher 3,

49:10and the most hardcore of hardcore fans would be in the chat. And they would say, obviously, I have to do missions, ABC and D. What else are there? What other missions are there out there that aren't necessarily story important, but are just really damn good to experience. And this would be one of those. Does it lead you to kill in a guy who's, well, it's not one of those things. It's just really damn good story telling with fantastic writing and an awesome character, telling you stories that, again, like you mentioned, half the time, I'm like, I don't know how much of this story is true at all. And that one with the Pope is so damn good of him saying, yeah, I got this. The Pope gave me this knife and you're like, I'm not sure I believe that. I say, yeah, I caught him cheating. And he gave me this. I've looked, there's a little writing on the knife there you could see it. And Cohen Reesie is like, holy shit, you're right. Yeah. I thought you were fucking around the whole time. It's just a really, really great endearing side quest, I would say. Yeah. I think too. And it brings a variety to kind of the tone and pace of the game.

50:13I felt like it was a very good, like, pastebreaker when so many things are like so serious and so life or death. And then you got this like kind of nasty old man. It's just a little bit of a curve telling you like the old college stories of your dad and you're like, my dad was like, what? Like that's not the person who I know. And then going through that whole storyline and kind of realizing that your dad did a bunch of shitty things. Um, he killed a bunch of people and he kind of had a, a, a conscience of faith later on in life. And that led him to where he is now and he went in with the church and was like, I'm going to put all this money that I did by killing people back into God and faith and everything. And I thought that was a really fun conclusion to that as well. And he kind of, I love the whole response to it. A vote going, what a stupid fucking. Why would you give the money to church? And I, it's me. At least value. It's like, like, all right, you're being a little harsh here. But he's like, you're a family who needs help. Like that money could have helped you in the kids. You know what, Vol. And you're like, you're making a pretty goddamn good point.

51:15Did you, did you continue to, uh, did you give money to the church later? Yeah, I did. Okay. Yeah. So did I. What? I don't remember the, what? Just like later on the way all the way to the, the, the, the, the, yeah. Later on, you're, you're able to continue to fund the church. And, and he's like, it's one of my dad would have wanted. Yeah. Yeah. I forget if I ever did it or not. I can't remember. Very cute. Very cute. Another side one. I love. Please, please, please. V. Cho. Yes. He's still my thing. I never did it. What? Great. If memory serves, yeah, this is the one I talked a little bit about, uh, in the review and code. Where I was like, there's one mission that I've pissed off all of the town now. So every time it's like, go back at night and I don't know where I'm going. So I get there and I'm like, oh, they're, and I'm like, fucking 900 guards are attacking me. I'm like, and I'm fucking killing him. No problem. And I'm like, I can't get to the door. I can't find the door to open the door. I had to give up on it. I had a hilarious moment in the town where I'm talking to NPCs. I'm talking to an NPC and guards are going crazy attacking me from outside of the bar.

52:18It's just like, this wasn't thought out fully. Yeah. Well, you know, um, so let me just read the little, please. Nobs here. Vichot, the owner of a Kirio shop in Svartrao isn't an ordinary man. He's a vrakir, but very different than the rest of them. He's, he's deeply religious. He cares about human friends and abstains from drinking human blood. But even so, I think he hates who he is or at least struggles with it. He refused to get directly involved in my fight against brenses, but I've had some help nonetheless. And I hope that his last, and I hope that is in his last word on the matter. So Vichot has a really awesome side quest where he has, there's some friends of his that have been killed. Okay. And he's like, Cohen, I've been so bloodthirsty. I think it was me and I'm scared. I'm really, really terrified that I lost control and maybe killed them. I was, I was eating dinner with them one night and like, fuck, I'm just really, really, I feel I would, you know, this is just dreadful. To even think about. So you go and you do a lot of investigation and you end up

53:24getting enough evidence or whatever to find out that, okay, these, these people were killed by like an outside group or whatever. Yeah. And so you're able to, yeah, yeah, his, oh man, his doctor of shit. Oh my god. Dude, holy fuck, Madeline, thank you for saying that. His doctor, his dentist, his dentist, Vichot feels so bad about who he is. Yeah. So Vichot asks his dentist to pull all of his teeth out because he just doesn't want to be a vampire anymore. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Was dentist. Very, very fascinated with all of the vrakir shit. Yeah. His dentist ends up putting one of his teeth into his chest to become a vrakir. But it's one of those that doesn't go well. He doesn't become a vrakir. He becomes just like one of those monstrosity I can't. I'm not even thinking or whatever. Yeah. So you kill him and then you're able to go to Vichot and be like, he, he, he was working, doing experiments,

54:27put the, it's a fault. Put your tooth in his chest and he's like, fuck, I let him, oh my god, I'm an idiot. He put the tooth in his chest. Dude, if he, yeah, he probably went crazy and killed him. And he's just like, oh my god, thank god, I fuck. I can't even, I already hate myself now. I can't imagine I would have tried to live in myself, knowing that I killed my friends. Like, thank you so much for telling me this. And then you find a note later on. And it, this note that you read basically a loose of the fact that no, Vichot definitely killed them. Yeah. You just don't break the use to it. You go to the farm and you find all these other dead bodies. And they're like writing a note about, oh, why, how could you have done this to us? And it's crazy. Oh, to see, that's not even the one that I got. Oh, really? I read another note that was just them saying, you have Vichot, he can kind of go crazy. But he's coming over to dinner or whatever. And it's the doctor warning, it's before the doctor even turned. The doctor is writing to this family or the dentist, doctor, whatever.

55:29Yeah. I mean, that's a dog. Yeah, he's, it's a letter from him to the family saying, really, I didn't know that he would, he seems like such an up, an upstanding man. They never say the name Vichot, but in this letter, they're like, I'm really, really sorry to hear that, you know, the bad happened. He seems like such a nice guy. I would have never expected that out of him. And so like, Vichot definitely went crazy and killed his friends. And you just don't tell him. You just don't break the news to him. Yeah, there's more to that quest, Andy. If you go to the alchemist, he'll, he's like, can you deliver this medicine to these people on this farm outside of town? And I'm like, sure, whatever I have got the time. And so I went out and delivered it. And everyone at the farm is dead. And you find notes that they invited Vichot there. And then you're able to, I believe, compel one of them and it confirms that it's him. So I go back and I tell him, I'm like, dude, I know, I already told you that it wasn't you. I found further evidence that it is you actually.

56:30And he's really upset, obviously. And you are able to either like kill him or convince him to like not die. Like, don't kill yourself. I'm going to help you. I'm going to source ethical blood for you and help you out through this like hard time. And so that's what I ended up doing. So you have to bring him blood like every couple of days or whatever. So that he doesn't go crazy. In the chat, Picto 3 says that he told him and then sat with him until the sun came up. And then he died there. That's crazy. Holy shit. That's a midnight mass shit right there. Yeah. Yeah. The thing, the thing that I loved about my ending of that quest was like, it felt very like, it felt very twilight zone. So like, oh, we're all good. Oh, I didn't kill my friends. I'll thank God. They're dead. But I'm so sad. And then to get that note, it felt like it felt like shutter island almost the end of shutter island. I've just been like reading the note and going like, oh, damn it. You did kill him. But I, I'm not going to tell you man. Like, I can't break your heart. This game with this quest. I want to call it. I know it's a larger one was me high. Right? I mean, the guy who's buried in the wall with the sword.

57:32You're on the mission for the sword. You're doing the thing. Was this the father flooring? Well, I think it was right. Where you're going down looking for a weapon that could defeat the vampires that you've been told about. And you get there and like, oh, there's the sword in the wall. And you go to grab it and he bursts through the fucking wall. And he's crazy. He's screaming about being betrayed. And all that was the one that we were watching during the new Madeline where I was like, what the fuck is this? Yeah. What fight is this? And Jordan was like, oh, I know what that is. And at the end, yeah, he can fight. He's a dawn walker. I think this is the first time in my gameplay. We heard about shit. The anchors, the anchors, the fucking vampire. Brue ha ha, the big guy, the big guys that at the end, what? Who? Oh, I just had O-Shurr. Oh, but you know what I'm talking about. I think so. At the very end of the game, the guy shows up. He's a dawn walker. Yeah, let me get my fuck. Yes, yes, yes. Oh, yeah, the augers. Augers. Thank you. The augers is what I'm looking for. Yeah, yeah, I was like, I don't know. He's like, you can trust the augers. They'll tell you, I'm like, all right, I don't know the fuck you're talking about. And then again, what I think so many times in video games, movies and everything else,

58:34they beat you over the head with the thing that's supposed to be the little thing. And so the mention of the augers here, and I great that I know that there I saw somebody in the chat talk about the augers being more involved in their ending than they were in mind. But the mention here, and then for my game, nothing else, all the way till the other dawn walker shows up in the post credits or the post finale, I guess, right? Where he comes and meets me at the cave and says there's a way to save my sister, but you got to work for the augers. Like it's such an Avengers moment for a thing I've never even heard about in my playthrough. I know people knew more about it than I did, but I was like, damn, this is really cool. I'm glad that it is like leaving me on such a, we finished this story, but there's clearly so much more to go. And I'm going to be going the auger initiative. You know, I patch on. Even though I was like, Cohen, how fucking stupid are you? You can't look at his eyes and know that he's a don't. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was just saying there's there's just such good world building that it does feel like you know that there's a lot of other things happening outside of your valley. And I think that that makes me feel so much invested in where the story is going to go. Because yeah, I don't feel like everything that's happening here is everything that's

59:37happening in the world, which I think can sometimes feel rare. Yeah, for sure. I mean, when I forget the vamp of the dawn Walker who shows up in the game, but the dawn Walker who shows up at the end of the game and being like, he's like, we want to take care of this eventually. Like we were on our way to come here and take care of Brences, but you know, it's cool that you did it, but now you need to work back to it of like the powers that be in what's going on on the outside. Let alone locker who I didn't get enough time with. And I was at sex scene during this holy shit crazy. I mean, Jesus Christ crazy. You you find that we find a little find a little fruit in a cave. Some it just blooms whenever some special shit happens. You're like, man, this is I don't give a fuck about any of the notes we find. This is like this is the shit. Go ahead, take a bite. And you take a bite of it and you're just like, oh man, you just feel like this is this is crack right now. Like I've doing drugs. This is amazing. And she takes and then and then she's like, come over here. Take a bite. You know, go ahead and you bite into her neck. And then I played the dumb route.

1:00:39And she's like, you know, we could do other things right now, Cohen. And I played like the one other thing. She's like sex Cohen. And it is crazy, man. It was awesome. Good shit. I'm an all recording. Okay. I'm sure you want to live. Yeah. My screenshots with Anka. There's a separate one. Arturo Tron, Robo Bartender, Super Chatting earlier. Like I said, and said, like Cohen's dad, I am a veteran. Like Cohen, I lost my little brother and mother. This story hit hard eight out of 10 game, 10 out of 10 experience. What a great RPG. I can't wait for the follow up. Again, talking about all of these different things in the threads and what we enjoyed. I was floored when we got to the stuff about Cohen's little brother. Yes. That whole mission is crazy at the windmill. Did you do this with his brother who falls through the ice? No. Andy, it's so good. It's like, yeah, it's one of those where I do.

1:01:39I'm trying to roll back to when I and me and Midler were talking about it. Hold on, hold on, hold on, because I know that I have the name in there. Oh, like we always knew that like there was that one of them died. I just. Wow. Yeah, but there's a whole mission that has like a time loop mechanic. Yeah. Do you know what we're talking about? No, hold. Okay. Yeah. Like there's one. Yeah, where you go back in. Yeah. Home sweet home was the quest. Alan was the brother. You go and there's all these references that start happening and then yeah, you get caught in this time loop. Who is it? I forget who puts them under the spell. It's the it's the magic guy who's making all of the flying creatures. Right. What's called the. The Gargoyle store. Yeah. Yeah, he puts. Sorry going to go. Now, and yeah, and he when you try to reach him to like stop him from making them for Brensys, he puts you under this spell that puts you in a time loop. And it brings you back to the very beginning of the game. Like you're your hometown and you're trying to get to your literally coming out of your room and chop the wood and talk to your family. And then all how it's you keep going through it.

1:02:41And then you start hearing more and more of this little boys voice and all this other stuff. And then yeah, you get pulled off to the side and you're communicating with your dead brother. Who before I guess he he would have been the second born right before any of this happen. He fell through the ice and you were just a kid. Cohen and you ran back to get help. But it was too late. And this is why your father so estranged and weird on top of his veteran stuff. It's why you know, this is a fucked up family to begin with. It's you've been carrying all this guilt. And like I'm sitting there. I'm looking at it right now. I'm sitting there tearing up as my brother as a ghost is communicating to me. And telling me about like letting letting go. It's not your fault. He's like, did you mean? Oh, you meant to kill me? Of course, I mean to kill you. Well, then how can you blame yourself? Yes, it was an accident would have been like God is insane. And at the very end, I forget he pops back up in some way too. I figured what it was, but it caught me off guard of how. Rohinge Beagle says you can stain the dream too. Yeah. So if you there you are in a loop and you have to go through the loop, I think like two or three times.

1:03:42You see your parents get taken over and over and killed. And you have to like basically break out of the loop. If you can choose not to break out of the loop. And then you have the bad ending of like being stuck in this illusion, where your family is like happy, but it's not real. And you're stuck in the sort of like, fucked up alternate reality. So fucking that's so crazy. This game. Chaos Killer X7 Super Chat says this is a nine out of 10 story wrapped in eight out of 10 production budget. The main thing I need them to do is very up quest design. Too many combat slugs in the later half. Yeah. I ended up dropping the difficulty just a seamrall to go a little bit faster. Yeah. And I've done that. And I noticed myself doing that in games where I'm like, all right, a little bullet spongey right here. I'm not dying. It's just I'd like to have a four. I like this six minute encounter to take three minutes or two minutes or whatever. So I ended up doing that. And I think that's always like a mark of a game that I'm not fully in love with the whole

1:04:47combat of it all. And I do wish that I do wish that they were just like more abilities on either vampire or witchcraft side. I wish it wasn't just all swordplay. And even though you use claws ever. I did use the claws a decent amount. Yeah. I guess like I wish it wasn't just all that directional parry based stuff. Sure. Because it very much felt like your turn might turn your turn might turn. Yeah. And I wish. Yeah, I saw the power is going and I was like really whipping it around. I felt like I mean, I was generating stamina so quickly. Not stamina, the little activation charges so quickly. That's when I felt like it opened up and I was like, I'm super powered here. Yeah. I'm with you of like it could be redundant. I was enjoying it the whole way through though. I stepped the dogs. I had to find the dogs. I brought up like I wish it there was a a stagger or a posture meter and you know, some people, you know, in the comments are like, he just wants everything to be a soul's

1:05:50like, but I like when parry's lead to a weakening. Sure. Even though the parry's here can lead to you hitting back stronger immediately. I do like, all right, well, I'm going to try to parry this whole train of attacks. And whether there's five attacks in a row, if I'm able to do that, I can hit that. All right, now you're super weak. Now let me go for the big kill and you know, if there were maybe some abilities that helped me, you know, make that critical hit stronger or whatever, I would have enjoyed that a bit more, but that's why that's why I kind of fell off. It reminds me a lot of my time with with first berserker Kazan where everything was just so tanky near the end of that game. I was like, all right, I'm kind of. I'm kind of it's what it's worn out. It's welcome, I would say fair enough. Daniel Super Shats says great game, but I hope the sequel steps further out of the Witcher 3 shadow. The music was especially distracting with its similarity. Cohen rocks. The amount of times I was playing that, I mean, I'm like, man, I feel like Cohen's a young Geralt. Geralt, I know it.

1:06:51No. You know, one thing I brought up to you was I, we'll see if Madeline agrees with me. I really just wanted to be able to teleport to a tree and plane shift up there and then drop down on enemies. Some stealth stuff would have been. Yeah, because you never really have elevation unless you're near a mountain. And so you have the kill people from up top and that works when you're in like the one city of Svarthrao. Or unless you're on like a little roof that's maybe six feet above the ground. Yeah, yeah. But there's like I always I love the moments of being able to drop down an enemy take out that dude or at least take out a big chunk of that more tanky class of enemies health. For sure. And I would have loved to adjust here. I kept on getting the vibes of like, man, if this were like predator running grounds, it's just such an old callback. Yeah. Let me tell, let me like, you know, zip up to a tree. I'll be on the tree then I can jump that and then go up to another tree and I can kind of chain things together. But that probably would add another, you know, 12 months of development time.

1:07:55I think next time, I think next time around. Yeah, I would have loved a lot more verticality like you're saying only because like you are pretty much just in a field almost the entire game. So it's like, I think that would have helped you feel a little bit more variety in the combat too. I didn't even put any perk points into the death from above thing because I'm like, I'm never above anyone. We're always I tied like no one is I'm never above you ever. If I could go to the trees or if there were more buildings around like there are those towers, but there's never usually anybody near them like the town. A glide man. Let me glide off those towers and other high stuff in the lane. It's swooping on people. Chocolate Fox 9 super chassis says, did you know you can shadow step in the middle of a fight as a vampire? I didn't know till the end of the game when I accidentally hit my trigger. I noticed earlier, but it was still a fun eight out of 10. Yeah, that's cool to kind of like, you know, you pop up behind and the enemy is like, what the fuck? Yeah, they freak out. When I started when I was like, oh man, I can slow down time. I unlocked that perk way too late where I was like, oh man, I love slow down time and fucking people up. I should have done this way earlier. I wish there was a, um, like a Wolverine style,

1:08:57jump and bounce, boo, get on, you know, to kind of like close the gap. Yeah, in moments like that. I think that would be it would have been a cool combat ability. Gary, the third super chassis, seven out of 10 for me. 50 plus crashes. I can't, I just can't go any higher, but excited to see what the studio does from there. What? Some great quest interweaving, truly batshit to show modern stuff. But what a fucking mess on PC. I played on the raceway 16 over here. I didn't know and the steam, uh, no, I'm sorry, the ROG ally. I didn't have problems. But I mean, I'm not saying that discounts it. That sucks for you. I apologize. That sucks. Yeah. No, I had, I had zero issues. How's it going? I'm going. Says Andy. Can you tell us how the volt quest ended for you? I've had two different endings. Oh, okay. My volt quest was basically him just leaving. Yeah, I came back. There was a note being like, hey, I gotta go. I'm gonna piece out. Yeah. I left you my sword or whatever. And yeah, I do. Madeline, is that how it went for you? Yes, same. I gave the money to the church and then when I came back to tell him he was gone and he was like, here's my stuff.

1:09:59Hope it helps. And I guess there had been people from the town who had heard that I was hanging out with him. And so I think I don't know if he died or if he left. I think we'll see him again one day. Yeah, I think so too. Maybe I will. Maybe I don't know every else. One thing I also loved was, uh, just becoming homies with Ocha. And then anytime I ran into other people for them to be like, oh, shit, your Ocha's guy. Yeah. Yeah. Come in here, whatever. So going up to that settlement that they have up in the mountains for them to be so welcoming because I know Ocha. But there's a great comedic beat there because I did the lacquer ending. Yeah. And I'm adventuring with lacquer to all these places. And so you go up into the mountains to sort of meet them and try to get information about is brand. I think grandfather. Yep. You go up to the mountains and she's like, all right, you're kind of, you know, step aside, I know what I'm doing. Cohen, you know, I'm old as shit.

1:11:00I've been around for centuries, whatever. And we get there and they're, they immediately walk down. They're like, oh, your Ocha's friend. Come up. You're good. Yeah, you could say she got to go. Yeah. And then no, no, he just says, and then Cohen just kind of gives her a look like. Yeah. I guess I am pretty good either. And she's like, oh, fuck off. I am. Really great moment there. Did you guys do similar? You were talking about Ocha, right? The Erashi. Erashi. Erashi. Did you, did you run into the Erashi in town that was begging for help with the woman who was a son or body in the night? She was. Yeah, that's Ocha. That's Ocha. I wasn't. I thought, I thought, I don't, why is it all right? It is, it is, it is. I, from that, I loved that conversation when it was over and I went with the good guy and I forgot what even what the quenched thing was but where I didn't do the bad thing or whatever. Oh, I blew, I blew the stealth. I fucked that up. It was one of those pay attention. Yes, I did. I fucked up the whatever magical and you do. And I came back and told Ocha about it. And they were, they, well, I got all they were, they revealed what they were going to do.

1:12:02I was like, wait, were you just going to take over and be bad too? Literally just shrugs. Oh, my God. I'm rock with you. I see what's up. Yeah, I, which is like, I wanted to be the drug lord. And I was like, exactly. What was that hell? That's one that I saved scumbed because I just wanted to see what happened in that spell or whatever. Because when the spell messed up, then you go in and you just kill him. Yeah, exactly. But because I did the spell, he, you know, his fucking head explodes or whatever. And he's yelling in just insane pain before he dies. And then you go in there and he, Ocha comes in and you look at Ocha, you're like, he's going to get messed up in the head. Like that's what you call it. Look at what happened to him. You know, it's really, really funny shit. And then, and then I told her to, I told her to do what's going to make her happy. Thanks. Go travel. If you want. Yeah, because she was like, you know, they want me to go back to my clan. But I'm just like, I don't know. Like I love being out here. I love being in the city. I'm just being out of this. I'm a city gal, you know. I love just kind of blazing my own trail.

1:13:04So I said, go do that. And she said, I will. I will. Final Super Jack comes from Joshi Frog, Hi Madeline, Hi Andy Greg Ghostbusters, Roosevelt's. I'm well aware today at three at what is it? And then yeah, but you know, you go find your family and it, okay, cool. They're down here in a dungeon or wherever except the, Luka, you got to figure it out. All right. Luka. Then the one where I did the, all right, I call him to be the one man army. I'm going to go in there and thrash the place and get in there. Did all of that. And when it was all very similar of like, I'm catching everybody off guard and killing them.

1:14:05And then it was like, well, Brent's this rain downstairs to get something ready. And I'm pretty sure this is the one where I go downstairs. And it's the entire family at the banquet table. They're at that. He made them all sit at a banquet table or whatever. And he's fucking with them there. I thought that was really cool. Then he had the parlay one. He brings your dad and like, he's, you know, fucking, you don't fuck me up. I'm not going to fuck up your dad or whatever. And then he ends up fucking up your dad at the end of probably. Cause I found a day after I'm or some shit like a lot of fun permutations of all that. And then of course, getting to the end, every talk to their mom I assumed. Did mom talk to everybody? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. That was that was a sweet little moment. But that's where I would have killed her. Which is just crazy. She wasn't alive. Like, I know right? Use their dad's like, I hate life. It's fucking sucks everybody. When your sister at the end, everyone got the cave ending with your sister with Luka and she's a vampire, right? Is anybody else in the cave with you? Yeah, it was a Vichot and lacra. No, yes. Only I only ever had the other Don Walker. And then the auger showed up.

1:15:05Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Interesting. Yeah. I just had Vichot, but because I missed lacra, she wasn't there. So and then Greg, you didn't have anybody. No, yeah. It was all them. Interesting. What a game. Excited for the future. Excited for updates. You know, we keep talking about, obviously the Witcher 3 being about to drop with this remaster or whatever we're whatever they're calling it. I think the Witcher, you know, updated over time for so long. I'll be interesting how rebel wolves support this again. Today, a new game plus is confirmed. I'll be interested to see what they add over time. Hopefully we get some DLC. But hopefully they get to work on the next game because I want to see where Cohen's story is going. The banger. I don't know how old is Anka. Dude, don't get me started. I'm 40. She's like, I'm 20 years older than you coming. I was like, she's like 40. And it's so like what's crazy about all that is like, my initial thought was, you know, I'm so old, going up so old. You know, I'm just an old hag out here. And she doesn't look it.

1:16:06Add some white hair to her. You know, if you want to like, you know, fake that age. But throughout all that, I go, I bet you she's like a thousand year old witch. Yeah, she's been doing a lot of that stuff. Yeah, yeah. Because then for the fact of him would be like, quit saying you're old. You're not old. I thought we were going to get a big revelation of like, no, I've been here for centuries, Cohen. No, she's just 40. She's just 40 years old. Yeah, just 40 year old woman. Ancient hag. Yeah. I liked all the none stuff for them too. We don't have to get into it. But like the not. And then I liked that. I thought that was such a, okay, cool ending in that. Or I'm sorry, quest. Yeah. And then at the ending when it gives you a little like, you know, die ram, isn't it? Brought it up. I was like, oh, shit. I didn't think about that. My, my knowns are still torturing these people. I didn't handle that situation correctly at all. Very later on to talk to one of the really, really old ladies in town. Yeah. At somebody in chat brought up, man, she must be 200 years old. Yeah. It looks like that is for you.
