This is AB DowG and this is the Big Picture broadcasting simultaneously on Radio Islam and Radio Al Ansar. Al Ansar, and how's it? All you wonderful people out there. No doubt you are full of spiritual blissfulness in this month of moderation and deep reflection and contemplation.
A time of piety and charity. What's that expression? The charity begins at home and so this is a call to all the lazy lumps who come home from work and park on the sofa while the fro is busy preparing the iftar. Multi-tasking, frying the samusas, making the milkshake, getting the halim ready etc. etc. a hive of activity in the kitchen. And it's the same at every time. Fro gets up first early, lazy lump is still snoring and then he finally gets up in time to take his bubble ass grumpy self to the table where everything is perfectly ready for him to stock up for the day.
Be charitable. Be charitable. Be generous. At least set the table. That's not complicated. And when the meal is over, clear the table. So start tonight. Okay? Take the cajure out of the fridge and put it on the table and the plates and the bowls for halim and bottle of green chutney and the cutlery. Slice the none. Maybe that's a bit difficult for you. Try to do it without messing crumbs all over the place. And just leave samusas frying to the fro because they have a special sense of knowing exactly when to take the samusas out of the oil. They possess a special culinary skill handed over to generations.
So don't attempt it, please. Okay? Trying the samusas because you'll only succeed in producing oil soaked black, three-hooky cookies. Three-hooky cookies. And then you say the wrong word. So dear lazy lumps, please just do the basic simple things for the fro. Okay, setting the table and so on. And I guarantee you that she will be thinking two things if you do all of that. She will keep glancing at your sideways and wondering what have you been up to the whole day that you suddenly decided to cover up and to change so dramatically from being a lazy lump. And secondly, she may want to invite your friend, Dr. Muhammad, the psychiatrist, for iftar to chat with you and find out what's going on here.
What's really going on? Being charitable means easing the workload of the fro. So I know what's going through your mind. What about me? Do I cook the chau and set the table and everything? How dare you ask such a ridiculous question? How dare you? I mean, you know me by now, right? Not nice to talk lies in Ramadan and all that. Okay, let's move on to other serious issues. And of course, the number one story that's dominating the headlines is the American Israel war on Iran. What's it all about? And why is it happening? But more importantly, what drives it? And that's what I will be focusing on today. What drives it?
There are of course a few factors and it's got nothing to do with Iran possessing nuclear weapons as the war on Iraq had nothing to do. You know, the war on Iraq had nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction. So also it's got nothing to do with the claim that Iran possesses nuclear weapons. It's a fake story to create fear. Don Kitsam said, we obliterated Iran's nuclear facilities last June. Obliterated means completely wiped out, finish and clap. Nothing remains, halas. Then this mutia, I have to be careful not to use the rhyming word, right? This mutia said a few days ago that Iran can attack us with a nuclear weapon within one month.
That's what he said, within one month. Good heavens, Iran will attack with obliterated nuclear weapons. It's the age of miracles, ABB. And let's not forget that this clown said that he will be a president to stop all wars. And for that, he was awarded the football peace prize. The football peace prize, he got that. But yes, the fake story that Iran is about to attack with a nuclear weapon will make many stupid people in the U.S. very afraid. And they will support any action against Iran. That's the first driver of the war, right? The fear of being bombed with a nuclear weapon. So some of them will believe it and support some. Perhaps the most important one is the weaponization of religion, weaponization of religion to drive the war.
Let me unpack that. Religion is used to get people's support. And therefore, let's look at the major players who are involved in this. At the heart of this idea, of course, is Israel. A war for Israel for religious reasons. So let's start off with a powerful figure dominating U.S. foreign policy. The smooth-talking secretary of state, Marco Rubio. I just can't stand this character. And I predict he will be giving me a perpetual stomach ache for a very long time to come. Why? Because this glib-tunged character is very likely to become the next president of the United States after Trump.
The guy is very smart, very, very sharp indeed. He makes the bull manure coming out of his mouth sound like pearls of wisdom. He stood for elections for president against Trump in 2016. This is what he said about Trump. He says it's time to pull off his mask so that people can see what we are dealing with here. He is a corn artist, Rubio said. He runs on this idea that he is fighting for the little guy. But he has spent his entire career sticking it to the little guy. His entire career is going to the Americans that are struggling, that are hurting and is implying, I'm fighting for you because I'm a tough guy. A tough guy? This guy inherited $200 million. He's never faced any struggle.
The other day, Trump told a protester, I'm going to punch you in the face. Donald Trump has never punched anyone in the face. Donald Trump was the first guy that begged for secret service protection. Well, Rubio and Trump had a TV debate and Rubio said that Trump was finished. He had a meltdown. And that during the TV commercial break, Trump scrambling to get rid of a sweat mustache he developed and demanding a full and mirror for an unknown reason. Maybe to make sure his pants were not wet, I don't know. It says Marco Rubio. It was in 2016. Well, so there you are folks. And then Trump realized that Marco is a very smart guy. And maybe he could use him so he invited him to join him in his government when he became president.
And Marco was happy to be the secretary of state, or as we know it, the foreign minister. A great position for him to show the American people how clever and forceful he is. And so it was a good strategy to get elected at the next elections. People will say, wow, what a competent guy he is as secretary of state. So that's what it's all about. Marco joined the clown to promote himself. Very sharp guy indeed. But I'm sure that he must be smacking his forehead every time he hears his boss talking absolute nonsense. And a good example is from last week, Marco said to journalists in an interview. Marco said, we went to war against Iran because we knew that Israel would attack Iran.
And Iran would retaliate and attack Israel and also attack America. He said this very clearly, right? We went to war against Iran because we knew that Israel would attack Iran and Iran would retaliate and attack Israel and the United States. Israel would start the fight and we will be forced to enter. That's what he said, basically and very clearly. A few days later, Trump said, no, no, no, we attacked Israel. We started the whole thing because we were certain that Iran was about to attack us with nuclear weapons. The Mampara directly contradicted Marco. Marco was asked about this contradiction and the poor guy scrambled to find some sort of explanation to make it sound like he was misunderstood.
Misunderstood by the media. But let's leave this very ambitious, smooth talker and get to the team of whatever is suggesting that the nuclear threat convinced some people to get behind the war, but the greater motivation was the use of religion to get people to support the war. And so let's see what Marco Rubio said. Appearing before some journalists a few days ago, he explained why Iran had to be attacked. And these are his actual words. These are his actual words. He said, Iran is run by lunatics, religious, religious, fanatic lunatics. I want to repeat that. Religious, fanatic lunatics.
Iran is run by lunatics. So, dear listeners, let me look at these words, religious, fanatic lunatics and ask the question. Is the United States run by religious, fanatic lunatics? Let's look at the track record of some prominent guys in the Trump administration and generally in the American society. First up, US Secretary of Defense now renamed Secretary of War. And that's Pete Hexet, the religious, fanatic lunatic. Let me read to you his credentials. US Secretary of War Pete Hexet, an ultra conservative Christian nationalist who has been described as the Pentagon's holy warrior,
sponsors a weekly Bible study that preaches support for Israel. While some Christians claim biblical prophecy require Israel to exist for Jesus to return, Hexet's Bible study leader Ralph Drollinger teaches that Israel should be supported because God blesses Israel's allies and curses its enemies. So, there you have it, a religious lunatic. And some years ago, speaking in Israel, he spoke about, wait, hang on, let me just get to something else also before I get there. It is alleged that he was quite a drunkard and a cocaine addict. And here's something that will show him up as a first-class lunatic.
He's got all kinds of tattoos on his body and internet search reveals this. So, it says, Pete Hexet has several tattoos on his arm and chest that have drawn scrutiny for their association with crusader era imagery and far-right Christian nationalist or extreme groups. So, here's what the tattoos identified as. He's got something called the Jerusalem Cross on his chest. A large cross featuring four smaller Greek crosses historically associated with the crusades. Then he's got another one on his bicep. It's known as Deus Volt. And that's Latin for God Will's It, which was a battle cry during the crusade and is currently used by some far-right anti-Muslim extremist groups.
Then on his forearm, his forearm, he's got an Arabic tattoo, reportedly reads infidel or non-believer, which has stirred controversy as explained in a Cardian article I won't go there now. And he's got other symbols also, something that says, join or die, snake, an American flag with a rifle, the 187th Infantry Regiment Patch, and a cross with a sword. So, here's the interpretation. While Hexad described his ink, the tattoo as faith, firepower, and freedom, critics argue the combination of symbols is consistent with Christian supremacy and far-right ideologues. So, there you have it, a religious lunatic. And some years ago, speaking in Israel, he spoke about the miracles of Israel.
He mentioned the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which said that Jews, the Jews of Europe could go and settle in Palestine. And then he also mentioned the creation of Israel in 1948, the capture of Gaza and West Bank in the 1967 war, and Trump declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Then he spoke about the destruction of Al-Aqsa. He was speaking in Israel, and he spoke about the destruction of Al-Aqsa, the building of the Jewish temple in the place of Al-Aqsa. Listen to this clip. And today, Jennifer and I had a chance to go see the Western Wall of the Temple Mount, the Western Wall tunnels, so much of the old city.
And as you stand there, you can't help but behold the miracle before you. And it got me thinking about another miracle that I hope all of you don't see too far away. Because 1917 was a miracle, 1948 was a miracle, 1967 was a miracle, 2017, the Declaration of Jerusalem of the capital was a miracle, and there's no reason why the miracle of the reestablishment of the temple on the temple mount is not possible. I don't know how it would happen, you don't know how it would happen, but I know that it could happen. Well, there you have it folks. Pete Hexet, the Secretary of War in Trump's government, a right-wing religious lunatic, a Zionist Christian.
Let's look at the other characters. Steve Whitkov, some's buddy for 40 years and golf partner, a real estate businessman with no political experience, and of course his Jewish. Here's what the Internet says. Donald Trump appointed as a special envoy to the Middle East with the strong pro-Israel Zionist stance, Steve Whitkov. He has supported Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, helped fund raise for the Israeli army. He attended Netanyahu speech to Congress and said, it felt spiritual. So that's the Zionist Steve Whitkov. Next is Mike Huckabee, a leading religious fanatic lunatic.
You must have heard this lunatic making an outrageous claim about what Israel is entitled to. Listen to this. United States ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee has faced condemnation from Arab and Muslim countries after suggesting Israel has a biblical right to much of the Middle East. In an interview with prominent American commentator, Tucker Carlson, Huckabee suggested that Israel has a God given right to land, stretching from the Euphrates River in Iraq to the Nile River in Egypt, which would encompass Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and parts of Saudi Arabia. And then he said, it would be fine if they took it all. He said arguing that the geographical borders of Israel are rooted in the Bible, a belief shared by Christian Zionists.
So what is this? This is the talk that's now going around about greater Israel from the Nile River to the Euphrates River with Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and parts of Saudi Arabia being part of greater Israel. Yes. So that is the Zionist, Steve Whitkov. Sorry, that's Mike Huckabee as I told you. Well, what more can I say? Does he fit the description religious, fanatic lunatic? But you know what? It gets worse, dear listeners. Before the United States troops were sent off to fight against Iran, they were given lectures by their commanders. They were told that the war is God's plan, and they are therefore soldiers in God's army to bring peace on Earth.
What were those words? Religious, fanatic lunatics. Listen to this. According to the military religious freedom foundation, this organization actually checks on whether religion is being drummed into the soldiers. Well, they examined everything. So according to the military religious freedom foundation, one combat unit commander at a briefing to officers on Monday said that the Israeli US attacks on Iran apart of God's plan. And that US President Donald Trump was anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth. One officer said that the commander had told them the war with Iran was all parts, all parts of God's divine plan. The commander referred repeatedly to the body of Iran.
The story about the battle between good and evil in which Jesus triumphs and establishes a lasting peace on Earth. President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire. I just mentioned that now. So they are folks. I don't know what to say. I really don't know what to say. Right. I have a long list of lunatics. Let me mention another one. Polar white. Polar white. Now that's a real work of art. Some spiritual advisor, Polar White Kane, runs the White House Faith Office. That's what is called the Faith Office.
She has publicly declared that to say no to Trump is to say no to God. She has publicly declared that to say no to Trump is to say no to God. And she claimed demonic forces stole the 2020 elections and is militantly pro-Israel. That's what she is militantly pro-Israel. She helped move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, helped broker the Abraham Accords and made privately with Netanyahu. One conservative journalist recently described her as a psychopath. Doomsday cultist. Oh, psychopath. Doomsday cultist. And she has a White House office and the president's ear. Can you believe it? He listens to her. He listens to a psychopath. Doomsday cultist.
There you are folks. The perfect religious lunatic. I can't leave out this one. A big shot in the US Congress. Big shot. Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson publicly called Islam a misguided religion speaking from Congress to justify the bombing of Iran. Do you get the picture, the big picture, dear listeners? Many Americans hear this message that God is behind this war because he wants to protect Israel. It's as they believe the Bible preachers. So therefore they have to get fully if they are people of religion, if they are pious and spiritual and so on. They have to get fully behind Trump in his bombardment of Iran and his support for Israel's bombardment of Gaza and the surrounding countries, religious lunatic fanatics.
And they are crawling all around in the White House. And now for the Trump card. Let me read from the Christian news website. Are we doing for time? They who? President Donald Trump invited a group of Christian leaders into the Oval Office on Thursday where they gathered around him and laid hands on him in prayer as the conflict involving Iran continues to escalate. Video shared on social media showed the president seated behind his desk known as a resolute desk while several pastors and evangelical leaders stood around him placing their hands on his shoulder and offering prayers for guidance and protection. During the gathering one of the participants prayed over the president and the United States asking for divine guidance. Here is the prayer. And this is what they said to God. We are honored to become before your presence today lifting up our president. We pray for your continued blessing and favor to rest upon him.
We pray for wisdom from heaven to guide his heart and mind and that you will guide him in these challenging times we're facing today. I pray for your grace and protection over him and over our troops. Father, we pray you will continue to give our president the strength that he needs to lead our great nation as we come back to one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. You must have seen the video of this with Christian leaders laying their hands on Trump as he closes his eyes looking very serious. Maybe, maybe he was thinking that they should have added one more line to the prayer and we pray that the Epstein files disappear completely. So they are folks, it's a crusade against evil and that's you listeners against you crusade again once again.
It's got nothing to do with nuclear weapons. People will support this crusade, but something himself is really not motivated by religion at all to wage war. Not at all. It's about what I just mentioned, the Epstein files. It's all of them. If all of them come out, Halas finish game over. He'll be booted out of the Oval Office and straight into trunk. He knows he's in the soup. Super. I mean, like a hot Harime. Listen to this interview with Professor Haim. Appreciate is a well-known filmmaker photographer and a film studies scholar. Retired from the University of East London in the UK, where he works since early 2002. He now teaches at the School of Orientals and African Studies. Here is how he described himself just in case people think that is outside and biased.
He says, I'm an academic author and filmmaker and ex-Israeli Jew who has been active for over five decades as a socialist and designers and anti-racist activists. My parents were Polish Jews, survivors of Auschwitz and other camps. I served in the Israeli Army as a junior infantry officer and took part in two wars in 1967 and 1973, after which I turned into a committed pacifist. I came to study in Britain in 1972 and a short while afterwards. I have learned much about Zionism, which I did not while in Israel. That's becoming an ardent support of Palestinian rights and an anti-Zionist activist. I was an active support of the anti-apartheid movement as a labor member in the 1970s and acted against racist organization throughout my life. So, let me play this interview right with this professor. Listen up.
I verified what you meant earlier when you said Israel's Epstein button. Epstein had between 5 and 10 million files. We're talking about one of the greatest database of crime, probably the greatest ever. I don't think any mafia organization can compete with Epstein. And we have to ask ourselves a simple question. Why? What was he collecting all this for? Is an amateur collector of emails, of spicy pictures, sexy behavior and worse, pedophilia and the rest of it? I don't think this was just a madness of Epstein. It was functional. He was collecting evidence. Now, who was he collecting evidence for? Some people are trying to hide the trucks by saying that he was collecting evidence for Russia. This is basically a mafia collection of evidence about people that can be used by those who have the evidence. And therefore, there are Epstein buttons for every politician in the West.
And they used them. We could see that President Trump was not very happy when Netanyahu came to see him because Netanyahu came to give him orders. And that's what you're going to do, Donald. And if you don't do that, we press the Epstein button. He's entrapped not just by the Epstein button, but by the Zionist millionaires and billionaires who are financing him, all the gifts that he has collected. And now he is a prisoner of a whole system, which for the first time is very visible. He's very difficult to deny it. And he is very worried. He's doing his best to keep the last bit of thousands and thousands of files, which include him invisible. I hope he fails because I believe in the wish of Americans for a democracy. Can you explain? Between 5 and 10 million files, we're talking about one of the greatest database of crime, probably the greatest ever.
I don't think any mafia organization. Okay, right. Welcome back. I think the clip was going to be replayed. Right. So I'm going to end with this question. How should Muslims view this war on Iran? Lots of people are grappling with this question. I just heard a thought provoking lecture by Dr. Umar Suleiman. And with that playing out, this is Abidouji wishing you a more spiritually uplifting second half of this glorious Ramadan. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. So yesterday at the rally for Dr. Aafiyah Siddiqi, may Allah SWT free her, liberate her, and all of the political prisoners.
I made the comment that Dr. Aafiyah represents something greater than herself and that one of the things that she represents are the casualties of war that will disappear in the numbers and be forgotten. And particularly, I mentioned the schoolgirls that were massacred in Iran. May Allah SWT have mercy on them all and comfort their parents. All of the oppressors and all of those that have been murdered, Allah ma'amim. And there's a question yesterday that came to me, how should we feel about all this? I know Sheikh Yasir addressed some of this in Hamdulillah, some ground rules yesterday. And I've been thinking about one dimension of how to address this tonight, Bidni Laitana from a Quranic framework and surely there will be multiple angles by which this will be addressed Bidni Laitana in the weeks to come and we make du'at for our ummah through all of this. The sentence that I want you to remember,
lean into your fitrah. Lean into your fitrah, your natural disposition. A few Khatiras ago, I mentioned the du'at that people used to ask Allah SWT for the iman for the faith of the old Bedwin woman, who's not a scholar of the Quran, not a scholar of the Sunnah who doesn't know law or jurisprudence, but her iman is very high. She knows what she perceives and she knows what she hears and she not truly leans into that iman in Allah SWT and there's something very beautiful about that. What do I mean by that? When situations like this arise, there's the block in the white and then there's the grey. There's the block in the white and then there's the grey. And I would argue that most normal Muslims just need to know the block in the white and that without knowing anything about political analysis or being able to dissect a situation
can lean into their fitrah and can do what Allah SWT demands of them in this moment and can call upon Allah SWT and act in the way that Allah SWT commands of them best in this month of Ramadan. Lean into the fitrah. The Prophet ﷺ in his time had to navigate more political complexities than we can imagine. Like I want you to think about how many tribal complexities the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has to navigate with the non-Muslims and dissecting the different tribes and who's related to who and who has this motivation and who has this history and who can be trusted from this direction and who can be trusted from that direction. The vast majority of the companions simply waited for the Prophet ﷺ to say, do this or do that and they leaned into that. But it's the Prophet ﷺ who is with his select group of people looking at Ghatlahan, looking at Benu Khuzaa'a, trying to navigate through all of the complexities that exist at the time of his undertakings Ali ﷺ.
So what does this mean today for us, the black, the white and the grey? I was thinking about this from a Quranic perspective. Allah SWT gives us ways to deal with all of these different things. When two groups of believers start to fight, when ta'ifatani min al-Mutminin al-Tatalu, if two groups of believers go into conflict with one another, then you try to do Islam, you wish for restoration amongst them, you wish for reconciliation amongst them. And then if one of them goes on the agreement or goes back on the agreement, renegs on the agreement between the two, then you go against the one that is refusing to reconcile. When there are two equally evil forces that are fighting against one another, Allahumallahu Alaikumu al-Baghallamu alayhi min wa l-Khalijjnaman, bayni hamasa'ati mini. Let them destroy each other and let us come out of it in peace. When you have two forces that are fighting one another, and one of them, they are both evil, but one of them clearly in the moment is more evil than the other.
And of course, that is the classical example that we find in Surah Ruh. Wa yamidin yafrah al-Mutminuna bin Asrillahi, Yans Ruh man yashat wa hu al-Aziz Rahim. There is a rule there, the day that the believers will find joy in the victory of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Who is this talking about? Abu Sayyid al-Khudri, Radya Allahu ta'ala an-Hu, he said, We found joy in the help of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala coming to the people of the book, the Romans, over the Majus, over the Persian Empire at the time, and then we found joy, we found Farah, we found joy of the victory of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to the Muslims over the disbelievers of Quraysh, over the non-Muslims of Quraysh. When the Muslims were in Abyssinia and you have another political reality, that's also complicated, you have Najashi, Radya Allahu ta'ala an-Hu,
who is concealing his Islam. And so he's not ruling by an Islamic framework, but he's giving protection to the Muslims and he's concealing his Islam and the Muslims know about his Islam, but his people do not. And there is a coup attempt on an Najashi. And Umsalamu alaykum wa ta'ala an-Hu narrates the way that the Muslims are on the side of that whole thing and they're watching it and they're praying to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for victory for an Najashi. To the point that Azzubayr alaykum wa ta'ala an-Hu, swims to see who is winning between the two and then he comes back to give the Muslims the news of the victory of an Najashi and Umsalamu alaykum wa ta'ala an-Hu says, there was nothing that made us more happy than that. There was a natural feeling, there was a natural sentiment. This man is protecting us, this is a good man, this is a Muslim. He's giving us our protection here. We don't need to get into the dynamics of what he's ruling by or who the other group is.
This was a dynamic that was very clear and obvious. There's a black and white and there's a grey. And so how do we, as believers, deal with black and white versus grey? When you see innocent people being killed, when you see your innocent brothers and sisters being killed, there's no grey. You lean into that, you make your art for your brothers and sisters. When you see what is as clear as night and day of an evil expansionist colonial enemy of Israel that is trying to expand and trying to disrupt the Muslim world. And that's making its intentions very, very, very clear. I never want to be on the side of that regime. Ever for anything, nothing good comes out of that. Nothing good comes out of that. It is always evil, it has evil intentions. And more and more Americans are waking up to the domination and the slavery of the political class to that colonial endeavor. And what it is doing and the havoc that it's wreaking in the region.
Black and white, I never want to find myself on the side of this evil. Okay, then what happens with the grey? Here's the thing that I want you to understand why I say you go back to the Muslim that simply leans into their filthwa. When you see what is taking place today, you can hold multiple truths at the same time and not forsake your principles. You can absolutely resent the crimes of the regime of Iran against the people of Syria and other places and still resent the crime that is being committed against the innocent people there right now. And understand very wide eyed and clear eyed that what is happening is an object evil right now. You can resent the presence of American military bases in Gulf countries. I do, you can resent them, it's evil. And then you can also be concerned for your brothers and sisters that live in those countries that are worried about shrapnel and drones falling on them. Those are two things that can be true at the same time.
There's a fitri element to this. That is just natural as Muslims. When it comes to the grey, those that want good for Islam and the Muslims, then guide them to every good. And those who want evil for Islam and the Muslims, then ruin their plans, spoil their plans, and make their planning a means of their destruction. I mean, you lean into your filthwa, your brothers and sisters. And so I say, take the step back in Ramadan. And again, this is a very short khatera to give just a bit of a framework of how Allah subhanahu t-ta'at gives us to us. Take a step back and don't get so lost in all of the political dynamics and all of the contingencies that you start to step away from what Allah has said has just made so obvious to you. And make du'at with that fear of Allah, and make a step back and make a step back. And don't get so lost in all of the political dynamics and all of the contingencies that you start to step away from what Allah has said, has just made so obvious to you. And make du'at with that fitra. And ask Allah subhanahu t-ta'at to protect the innocent wherever they may be.
Ask Allah subhanahu t-ta'at to protect your brothers and sisters wherever they may be. And ask Allah subhanahu t-ta'at to destroy the evil intentions, that which we see and that which we don't see. When you see an object evil and it's the black and white, then you rely upon Allah, When you see an object evil and it's the black and white, then you rely upon Allah, And when there is evil that I can't understand and there are certainly things that are at play, where even if we see evil, there are layers of evil behind that evil, then you go back to Allah, And when there is evil that I can't understand and there are certainly things that are at play, who sees layers that you can't see. And you turn that back to Allah subhanahu t-ta'at, but don't step away from what makes you a believer, that pure iman that hurts. When you see your brothers and sisters wherever they may be, being hurt, when you see evil forces that are trying to create a vision for a greater Israel,
may Allah subhanahu t-ta'at foil their plans in our lifetime. Guide us to the most productive ways, to where we can be a part of uplifting our Ummah and alleviating our Ummah, and may Allah subhanahu t-ta'at give us rightly guided analysis as well. This is where you ask Allah, as it was said, for Hidayah and rushed. Listen, politics in general, you know, a lot of people are talking about like local politics, and how should we get involved with this, and how should we get involved with that? Very good people are going to make mistakes sometimes. People that are really trying to get it right, are going to get it wrong sometimes. But do you believe that they're sincere? There has to be a domain here of sincere discourse and dialogue amongst believers that are trying to get it right right now. And that discourse is an important and a healthy discourse within Allah in ta'ala, because it is a masih arena, but the majority of it is actually black and white. And as a believer, you lean into the black and white.
You lean into the fitra, you lean into what is so obvious to you right now, as a Muslim in the world that you're seeing right now, your eyes wide open, and your heart bit in the night ta'ala beating for your Ummah, and the last reflection I'll give with you tonight is this. So, Allah, I was just in Doha a week ago. I was supposed to be going to Umar on a few days. And I remember sharing with you all that my flight got, there were some flight issues, and I ended up having to come a day later, and I got to pray the first night of ta'ala week there. And I was to Allah, how beautiful Ramadan is there, and we're going to go to Ramadan, we're going to go to ta'ala week, and we're going to enjoy the beautiful spirit of Ramadan here. And somehow look how quickly things change in the safest places in the world. And I say this today, as I would have said last year, that a world that watched what happened to Raza and did not do anything about it is a world that has to all be placed on high alert and urgency.
All of us, our situation can change overnight. Our situation can change overnight. So, don't think, oh, well I'm here, and they're there, and they're there, and they're there, and none of this can come to us. Keep your faith steadfast and work on that. Keep your principles solid and firm. Keep your heart with your Ummah, and lean into that fitra in Ramadan where we're supposed to be feeling that sentiment of one body, may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala uplift our Ummah. All over the world, and may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala destroy those that wish evil for and those that inflict harm upon it, and may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala allow us to see the gloating of our enemies turn into humiliation. Allah am an Amin. JazakAllah al-Fayr wa-Salaam wa-Alaikum wa-Salaam wa-Salaam wa-Salaam wa-Alaikum.
