The Arkansas Wild Man - Jackson River Encounter - Gray's Harbor Report

I don’t recall where I heard this but it seems to ring true about fly fishing. For some people it’s about the art of the cast. They love the soothing back and forth of the line as they attempt to whip it to the ideal spot. I’m sure Mike would agree with that statement along with a heavy dose of peace and tranquillity that come with it.
Lucky for him that day on the Jackson river, his senses were acute enough to detect something was amiss. And when you realize that something wants you to leave, you can almost appreciate the fact that it didn’t escalate, especially when you’re not armed.
