About this episode
Dr. Samuel Cunningham is President of the Texas Bighorn Society and is a conservation force supporting Texas and their struggling Desert Bighorn Sheep populations. Who's to blame for the low numbers? Well, aoudad are certainly not helping things and Sam takes a deep dive into the history of wild sheep in Texas, their struggles and the harsh reality of what can and can not be done.
Sam takes us through the work that stakeholder groups and Texas Parks and Wildlife have been dealing with on the Desert Bighorn Sheep file. And as always we have some time to talk sheep hunting with Dr. Cunningham with him having completed his FNAWS a few years back.
