Beach National Team member Alex Russell joined us to discuss why he gave up his indoor pro career to join the Beach National Team. Alex shares stories about growing up with his siblings, Dalhousie Alumni mother and Olympian father. Alex climbed the ladder from club volleyball in BC, the Provincial team, University of British Columbia, the Canadian Junior National Team twice, and a professional career in the Czech. During all of this Alex would play beach at Kits Beach with the KBVA and Vancouver Open.
