For the last 28 years, David Garofalo has announced the Cigar of the Year. It’s the only Cigar of the Year that allows you to vote and have your voice heard. Seven Contenders were announced in November, and today we will announce the winner fo the 2019 Cigar of the Year .
But first we light up a cigar from The Cigar Authority Care Package. It comes from a line that won Cigar of the Year back in 2012. The Atabey Idolos features a top secret blend only known to a select few and it is made in Costa Rica.
In the second hour we light up The Cigar of the Year and tell you how the decision was made. We pull back the curtain and tell you what goes into the selection of Cigar of the Year as we look back at past winners.
