THCYM | WHAT IS IBSA?

About this episode

Hey team!

We're back with another solo learning episode. I learnt SO much researching this topic and I hope you guys learn just at much listening. Today we are talking about Image Based Sexual Abuse (IBSA). According to research from RMIT, 1 in 5 Australians aged 16-49 have experienced some form of IBSA in their lifetime (this is TOO MANY!). We learn about some stories in the media, how IBSA can impact victims, the laws in Australia, and what to do if you or someone you know experiences IBSA.

**Disclaimer: there is mention of sexual abuse throughout this episode. If you or someone you know need help or support at anytime, contact 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732 or head to their website HERE.
