Texas Longhorns Gain Momentum in Meredith Recruitment

Five-star cornerback John Meredith, the third from North Cali High, committed to an official visit in Austin, June 6th through the 7th. Head Coach Steve Sarkeesian gets another shot to sell him on the program, and this Texas native ranks as the top corner from the Lone Star State and 5th best nationally per 247 sports. He's not locking in yet though. Meredith has visits lined up at Alabama by the end of May, then Texas A&M and Ohio State later in June. Schools are lining up because his stock keeps climbing. Fans and scouts are buzzing over his talent. The kid made noise at the under-armor All-America game, snagging a tackle, and an interception against top talent nationwide. Landing him with Supercharge Texas' secondary. Texas already boasts a top 15 class with four-star commits like Eastern Royal, Cameron Hall, Derwin Fields, and Carnell James, plus three stars.
