Texas Longhorns Basketball: Fighting for March Madness Spot

They've dropped four of their last five regular season games, landing them as the number 10 seed in the SEC tournament. Right now, they're projected as a number 10 seed in the Midwest region for March Madness, but they're right on the edge with no room to slip up. Recent bracket projections show the bubble sitting around the number 11 seeds. Teams like Santa Clara, Virginia Commonwealth, Southern Methodist University, and Indiana are the last four expected to squeak in. On the flip side, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Auburn, and Stanford are projected just outside, so Texas needs to build a stronger resume than those. Squas to lock in their spot. Fans and analysts have watched the team's chances drop sharply. Two weeks back, under first year coach Sean Miller, they had an 88.3% shot at the big dance. Lately though, the slump has hurt, leading Miller to binge key players and call them out publicly.
