Texas is Losing Their Conservative Base: A Conversation with Merissa Hansen

Texas is known as a red state. Closer look shows that despite Republican leadership, the state has turned purple with the cities moving blue. Houston is moving to the WEF climate initiative and becoming a smart city. The migrant shift into the state is shifting voting expectations. There are United Nations murals popping up in the city. Through her work she has begun to dissect who is funding the migrant buses, Abbott’s role in changing the demographics in Texas, the adoption of smart cities, and much more.
