The class broke down to five narcotics units, targeting stuff like methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and marijuana, plus three explosives teams, guarding key spots from all kinds of threats. Now the whole DPS K9 operation boasts 101 personnel with 88 handlers running 59 narcotics dogs, 15 explosives, units, and 14 trackers using breeze like German shepherds, Belgian malinois, labs, and even a vissela ready to patrol and protect without missing.
