Tesla Bans Wet Rag Trick!

Episode 432: Join Kyle and Francie to talk about Supercharging tricks. Tesla has officially banned the wet rag trick, a method previously used by some Tesla owners to increase Supercharger speeds. The technique involved wrapping a wet rag around the charging handle to trick the temperature sensor and thus allow for faster charging rates. While this method was known to improve charging times, Tesla said it doesn't impact charging & has prohibited its use to ensure the safety of the Supercharging process.
