Teen Dies in High-Speed Chase, Carjacking Suspected

0:00This is Corey, here with your quick two-minute update from Sydney News Today. A tragic crash in Melbourne, Southwest, has claimed the life of a teenage boy. It happened around midnight on Thursday, on Derermitt Road in Hoppers Crossing. Police say the grayscoeda involved with Stolen and flipped several times after hitting other cars. The car was chasing another vehicle in what looked like and attempted car jacking. No one in the other vehicles got hurt, but the incident has shocked the local community. Two other teens, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, suffered injuries that are not life-threatening. They went to the hospital under police guard for treatment and questioning. The girl has already been released and is due for a police interview today. The scoda was taken from a home in Maidstone sometime between March 11th and 12th.
