Reporting from The Daily News Now, I'm Corey, with the latest in Sydney. A 17-year-old boy faces charges after a deadly crash in Hopper's Crossing involving a stolen car. The incident killed a 15-year-old boy who was thrown from the vehicle at the scene. Police believe 17s were inside the Grey Scota when it flipped multiple times after hitting other cars. Earlier this week, around midnight on Dairy Mutt Road, the stolen scota was chasing a Toyota sedan in what looked like an attempted car-jacking. Investigators say the driver deliberately rammed the back of the Toyota, leading to the rollover. The crash left a 16-year-old girl with serious injuries in hospital while a 17-year-old boy had minor wounds. Four people ran from the scene and police were working to identify them. Two other teens, a 14-year-old boy and another 16-year-old girl, were arrested but later released pending more checks. Investigators from the critical incident response team arrested the 17-year-old driver yesterday. He is charged with culpable driving, causing death plus other traffic offenses and has been

remanded to appear in children's court. Meanwhile, officers found an edge weapon and alcohol inside the wrecked car. The investigation continues as they track down the remaining passengers.
