Teen Boy Charged with Attempted Murder in Nottingham Stabbing

0:00On April 20th, a 14-year-old boy faces attempted murder charges after stabbing a 13-year-old girl in broad daylight in Nottingham. Police rushed to Winsley Road in Woolford last Friday, just after 4pm, following reports of the attack. The girl suffered serious injuries, but is now stable in the hospital while the suspect who can be named was also charged with carrying a bladed article. Superintendent James Willie says his team is supporting the family through this traumatic event and reassuring the community that they're digging into what led to it. The boy heads to Nottingham Youth Court today, and police are still seeking tips call 101 with Incident 532 of April 17th, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
