Teen Baseball Player Dies, Becomes Organ Donor

The Peoria County Corner identified him as Bentley Wolf, a sophomore at Christmine High School. Wolf arrived in critical condition at a Peoria Hospital on March 3rd. Despite intense medical efforts, he was pronounced brain-dead three days later on March 6th, at 5.49 pm, an autopsy. Confirmed the cause as severe blunt force trauma to the head, the corner praised Wolf as a heroic organ donor and extended condolences to his family, schoolmates, and staff. His mother, Samantha Simpson, shared a heartfelt social media post announcing his passing and expressing hope that his organs would save other lives.
