Teen Bailed After Oak Road Crash

0:00On April 19th, a nasty crash shook up Oak Road and Limeside, Oldham, last Friday evening, April 17th. A grey Renault Cleo slammed at the trouble, ending up erect on the pavement with its front smashed and airbags out. A grey Ford Focus took some hits too, and police naved the 17-year-old boy right there on suspicion of dangerous driving. The scene looked rough, with glass everywhere from the impact, emergency crews rolled in quick cops and paramedics on-site to handle the mess. No one was seriously heard from what we know, but it shut things down for a bit while they sorted it. Folks in the area were rattled, as these kinds of wrecks always spark worry about road safety. The other driver, seen as the victim here, got checked out at the hospital and was sent home after treatment. It's a reminder how fast things can go wrong behind the wheel. Fast forward to Sunday, and greater Manchester Police dropped an update, the team's been bailed pending further checks. He walked away without a scratch, which is lucky in a smash like that.
