Teen Abducted, Assaulted in Temple Terrace

0:00In Tampa Bay today, March 3rd, police in Temple Terrace, Florida are investigating after a 13-year-old girl reported being abducted and sexually assaulted Monday evening. She went missing around 6 p.m. from the derailleur of apartments, prompting a police search. She returned on her own shortly after 9.20 p.m. and told officers a man forced her into his car, took her somewhere unknown, assaulted her, and then dropped her nearby. The trouble started when the girl was with friends at the apartment complex. A man drove up in a gray or silver Nissan Altima and asked if any of them would buy him food from Burger King in exchange for cash. Most said no, but she agreed and picked up the food. She came back to hand it over, and that's when he grabbed her and sped off, according to her account. Officers had already arrived for the missing person report, but couldn't find her at first. The girl described her attacker as a slender white man with blonde or sandy colored hair and a reddish beard. He said his name was Brian, or Ryan, and that he was 19 years old. His car was a gray four-door sedan.
