Yunan, whose work at the school since January 2017, faced a teaching misconduct panel recently to decide if he could keep his job. In his defense, he expressed deeper grit over the poor choices, and their harm to the profession, students, and families. He highlighted his strong track record and steps taken to fix the issues in the past 18 months. The panel agreed the offense was serious, but out of character, praising his insight, remorse, and contributions to education.
