For millions of Americans, the month of April usually means filing their taxes and awaiting a hefty refund from the IRS. However, this year taxpayers may be disappointed as the IRS has indicated that refunds will be significantly lower than in previous years. Though most taxpayers know that taxes are required to pay, the real question is: Where does the money actually go? In this episode I review federal taxes in the U.S., who gets taxed and who gets the money.
