Talarico Edges Ahead in Texas Senate Race

Meanwhile, Cornyn and Paxton are headed to a Republican runoff on May 26th after neither grabbed a majority in the March primary. The Winterfaces Tallerico come November, an early voting for that runoff kicks off mid-May, ramping up the pressure in this nationally watched showdown. Voters of color, independence, and college grads are fueling Tallerico's edge, especially independence who back him big in both matchups.
