Takaiichi highlighted the strong U.S. Japan ties, pointing to an upcoming Indie car race in Washington this August. It's part of America's 250th birthday celebrations, with Japanese companies like Honda powering the engines and sponsors involved. She also touched on cherry blossom season nearing, noting Japan's gift of 250 new trees.
