Hot weather in the 80s and 90s has cranked up repair and install calls, and they expect even more as summer hits full stride. The operations director, Rich Stanley, says they're explaining the squeeze to customers while still showing up to fix things right. For now, the company is eating the extra costs to keep folks cool, but that goodwill has limits. Stanley admits prices might creep into customer bills if diesel stays this high much longer. Triple A reports national gas averaging just over $4 a gallon, $3.75 in North Carolina, and diesel at $5.60 stay wide.
