On March 19, 18-year-old Bobby Goodman survived a nightmare when her boyfriend Jordan Herring threw her from a fourth floor window in a, jealous outburst on November 12, 2022. The attack happened in his mother's high-rise flat in Kilmsleywood, Sallyhole, sending her plummeting about 40 feet to the ground below. CCTV captured the horrifying fall onto a grass-verge outside. Herring then carried her unconscious body back upstairs and delayed calling for help for over an hour. His mother finally dialed 999 just after midnight, expressing fear he might harm her further. Bobby endured a collapsed lung, shattered pelvis, broken ribs, and a smashed spine. Air lifted to hospital. She spent a month in intensive care and months in a wheelchair, facing constant pain and mental trauma from his controlling. Behavior and lies that she had jumped. Despite Herring's repeated claims and a massive court backlog from COVID, he was convicted this January 30th of Grievous bodily harm and coercive.

Control, though cleared of attempted murder, the weight stretched over three years prolonging her suffering. Now walking with metal pins in her hip and working as a barmaid at Birmingham Airport, Bobby shares her story to urge women to spot toxic signs early and seek justice without delay.
